Re: Draft Day Thread
Some rando on Twitter said the Jazz were trying to pursue Bradley Beal.... If true, that means they are not confident in keeping Conley.
Ingles is cooked.

The jazz definitely aren't pursuing Beal. We all know we are asset poor and the warriors would destroy any offer that we could make.

I don't think we are going to get him but if true, sounds like the Jazz are: A, being aggressive and B, maybe not confident in retaining Conley. I also agree that we are asset poor.
Ingles is cooked.

Who knows how legit this is but it’s Utah and people know people.
Looks like the dude is from Louisville, so maybe a Donovan connection.

Re: Draft Day Thread
It is not true and would be a complete waste of jazz managements time. The conversation would last about 10 seconds if we called the wizards. They would say you can have Beal for Mitchell and of course we say no and the phone is hung up.GobertReport wrote:sip wrote:GobertReport wrote:Some rando on Twitter said the Jazz were trying to pursue Bradley Beal.... So the Cavs just picked up Rubio. They have 3 starting PGs. (Garland and Sexton are only 6'1. You have to figure they are going to move one of their existing point guards. Do the Jazz somehow get involved? That would be a small back court for the Jazz.

Re: Draft Day Thread
Regarding the Beal rumor, there is no way that we're getting him but the Jazz could have been in touch with the Wizards as a facilitator of another trade as a 3rd or 4th team. Westbrook is rumored to be traded to the Lakers so maybe the Jazz will get in on that. Not that I think Westbrook is a good fit next to LeBron.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

So Plumlee got dumped with 37 for 57
At best with Favors if we're attaching 30 is that like mid 45? Oof.

Westbrook and Lebron on the same team = everyone else just stands around and watches on offense. They will just give each other their assists

Please, no more Treys lol. If the move to 15 rumor is real/happens they have others higher on their board for sure.dr0welf wrote:

Duarte and Murphy are likely top 20 picks, those are the guys they are trying to move up for.

I'm really surprised the raptors passed on Suggs. I'm a huge fan of Suggs and think he is going to be a star.

Well with that pick, Hield is probably available. What do you think his fit would be with Spida running PG?
