I do think the more fun thread than trade Beal is take these pieces and build a better fitting team around Beal without sacrificing young guys too much.

Yeah it is, but probably almost entirely dependent on Schroder cooperating, and probably a third team. Those are the hard parts

I don’t think thats a playoff team unless Beal just goes nuts all year. But I do think they could make some other moves to get into the playoffs.

I’m an attorney so I first read that as like swapping out the general counsel, which I was confused by as to translation to wins. But, to me the issue with the Wizards (an issue) is whether they will sacrifice any future by trading Rui, Advija, etc for wins now. If not, no chance they get to the POs. If so, they might be left holding the bag when Beal leaves. I still think the only option is to trade Beal.

I think WAS is a better team if the whispers of Kuzma + Trez for Spencer are true.

Dinwiddie / Beal / KCP / Rui / Gafford w/ Deni as the 2nd unit facilitator isnt bad.

There's actually a lot that can happen. You're right.

Still even possible this is smoke and mirrors by Lakers and that CP3 is the prize.

Brooklyn get Harrell+Kuz
Washington/Phoenix get Dinwiddie+KCP+future Lakers pick
Lakers get Westbrook/CP3
