He'll fit right in with every other player on the roster who has had that said about them.

Westbrook is one of my favorite players ever to watch, but he just can’t help your team win a ring at this point in his career with his salary and expected role. He’s a great floor raiser but limits your ceiling.

Lol. Sometimes tweets like this are playing the hindsight game but that Plumlee signing was obviously dumb the minute it happened.

I know some don't believe Westbrook will work in LA.

I am sick of seeing LA get handed players. We have to trade 5 firsts and 2 swaps for Jrue.....LA trades one first and trash for Russ.

Only took Charlotte 5 years to learn you can actually get assets back in return for taking on a terrible Plumlee contract

I think he’s good still. Not a good fit in LA in the postseason but he’s going to help them in the regular season in the very least and maybe if you get a bevy of shooters you can construct lineups that have just enough spacing to work.

I think Russ is still a pretty damn good player and will make that Lakers team better. He's just horribly overpaid.

If the deal happens it'll be a win for the Lakers and Wiz. Wiz will get out from the Wall/WB contract disasters and the Lakers will be in a good spot to make a couple of good runs as Lebron winds down.

The Plumlee’s should have to play with a ski mask on.

LeBron gonna see a lot of 0-5 zones. Westbrook may be a force of nature but he isn't helping them win a title. They better have a ton of dudes looking to ring chase that can shoot. I get zagging when everyone else is zigging but this isn't gonna work.

Lakers closed their championship window with this Westbrook trade. KCP is very average but he was their only real 3&D guy

The analytics don’t like Westbrook. Dialed in fans realize he brings a team as many problems as he solves. His salary will keep LA from adding more, useful, players.

But he is fun (in my opinion). If LA is going to be on tv every other night, they might as well be fun.

Isn't this kind of what we got in trouble for last off-season? or did we do something differently that this likely won't be considered tampering?

If this was Westbrook 5 years ago when he still had a pretty good mid range pull up and was a terror in transition it'd be different but now? Good luck winning when Westbrook is shooting 9 threes per game at like 30% while also standing around watching and doing nothing else off the ball.

I agree that in terms of contributing to wins WB is pretty close to net neutral, especially at his age. But here's the thing, Lebron has a way of finding things for people to do, and then he tells them to do it, and then they do it, and then Lebron goes to the Finals. It's not just Lebron gives assists therefore Lebron makes his teammates better, it's moreso that you either align your game to his way of winning or you're gone.

TLDR: I'm sure they've worked out some way of making WB impactful on the Lakers.
