This one is extra spicy!!! Any predictions on who we're after with a trade up into the late lottery?

I'm thinking Corey Kispert or Chris Duarte. Maybe...Trey Murphy of Virginia. Travis loves upperclassmen and guys who can pass, dribble and shoot.

League sources say the Hawks have offered the 20th pick with Cam Reddish to teams drafting in the late lottery. The expectation around the league is that Day'ron Sharpe, a tough big with small-ball 5 potential, would be the target if they make a trade.

Trey Murphy is my #1 guy. He fits, he plays hard and he’s got a really nice stroke. If we move up to 11-17 we need to consider him. He won’t be there at 20 no way.

Dang I don’t wanna trade Cam. If we are trading Cam and a pick it should be for something higher than to move up 7-10 spots. That’s ridiculous.

Here is his draft bet.

Using Cam and #20 to move to the late lottery doesn't make much sense to me and seems very risky.

Jalen Johnson, I don't like the pick, i would have stayed with Springer.

Jalen Johnson seems average and ontop of that Duke has a horrible history of producing NBA level players

Johnson is very limited and he is going to be in the G league for a long time. We probably won't hear from Johnson for the 1st two years.

Alot of good names still in the draft. Hopeing somebody falls to the Hawks in the 2nd round that could be a 2nd round steal.

I don't like the Cooper pick. I would rather the Hawks draft a big in the 2nd round.

But with that said, I saw one of Cooper's high school games before the pandemic started and he was extremely impressive. The whole time I was watching him, I kept thinking "wow this guy is just so slippery".

He was so quick and great ball handling and great passing no guy could really stop him, he look like was just slipping by everybody, even when there was 2 or 3 guys infront of him.

When I watched Cooper in high school he defiantly looked like a D1 player out there compared to the other guys. I wasn't sure if he would be an NBA player, but i'm happy for the guy for making it to the NBA with his home town team! That's very rare and very special.

A couple of one and done's with pick 20 and 48, can't complain about that. JJ is a sf version of Collins essentially. He has the biggest hands in the draft.

Cooper I hope can secure the back up role. Keep developing these guys and the consolidation will net the team a 2nd star next to Trae.

I love this draft. We did exactly what we said we were going to do by taking BPA with both picks. We didn’t trade Cam and we got the steal of the draft. Cooper might be our immediate backup PG at 48. Well done.
