Montrezl opted in. Man that would be a sweet deal for Buddy. Always liked Trez as a player too

Anyone think we have a shot at Simmons? Buddy, Bagley, #9 and 2 future firsts?

The Lakers are engaged in so many trade talks I’m not sure the Buddy thing gets across the finish line

Westbrook to the Lakers is said to use the same players?

I can’t see the Wiz doing that without more picks and the Lakers don’t have them.

This one hurts. Kings can't catch a break.

Philly was rumored to be in on Buddy talks too. If this meant we get Thybulle and a late first then I'd be even happier with that deal.

As of right now it's sounding like the deal might be expanding and Lakers get Buddy and Russ. No idea what the return looks like for us in that case.

If that happened I believe the Lakers would need to do an S&T of Shroeder--some theorized he goes to Washington, but then it's unclear exactly who comes to Sac--particularly if Kuzma and Trez are coveted by the Wiz. Only Wiz player I see that could be used for matching is Bertrans and no just no.

I am told there are a couple of scenerios

# 1 is were bagley could be added in a deal possibly to Wiz , Kings getting Harrel in such a deal

Another Kings get the # 1 pick # 15 & #22 lakers 1st in such a deal & Outside chance Kings can make a huge play for Simmons

Only mentioning info I have heard via source cannot say anything is for sure .

Info above I do not think will happen just posting info given to me f.y.i .

Fox needs to be dealt now IMO. Who picks a backup pg at 9?

Trading Fox might be the last straw for me as a Kings fan. The plan is then what? Davion-Haliburton-Barnes-Simmons-Holmes (if we could even afford him). That is not a good squad. Who is scoring on that team?

Simmons is superior to Fox overall in terms of statistical impact.

Its a better squad than we have now

Fox is a scorer who doesn't make anyone else around him notably better, at this stage.

I'm surprised we have not made a trade today. Hopefully we don't trade our second for a worse pick and Vivek Cash Considerations.

We didn't draft a backup PG at 9... we drafted a 3rd string PG at 9.

In fact, even if we trade Fox, Mitchell is still probably 3rd string.

Haliburton is a playmaking SG. I love Wright, more than anyone, but Im not sure Id draft specifically around him. Though I do love him

I just don't agree with that assessment of Simmons on a fundamental level. Even in Philly he was playing with a superstar and clear cut number one scoring option in Embiid. Who is that guy in Sacramento?

Who is that guy in Sac right now? Don't say Fox, because he's not a #1.

I disagree and you can look no further for proof than where he'd slot in (at least prior to this pick) if we trade Fox: PG.

What about the team having a better record without Fox playing the last two years. Or the role he's been playing in our ridiculous defense (Walton is a terrible milquetoast coach, though)

I support De'aaron as long as he's on this team, and think he has the talent to eventually be one of the better PGs in the league, but he needs to start showing some team impact

At worst Fox is a #2 scoring option and I'm not even saying Fox is a #1 but he is a guy that can score 25 ppg. Simmons isn't even a #3 scoring option.

I believe we were 7-7 without Fox this year but that's not even relevant to how I feel about Simmons vs Fox. I simply think we are a worse team if you replace Fox with Simmons.
