I haven't seen him play, only highlights and that's who he reminded me of, minus the all-world passing ability.
I've watched him in person many times over several years in the AAU circuit. Outstanding talent. He has a flawed shooting stroke that can be fixed and has all the other tools, including good court vision and great athleticism. He isn't a great team player, despite his passing ability. Will be interesting to see how he develops.
Since the poster mentioned Mike Foster, I rank him the most talented Wisconsin player I've seen over many, many decades. It's doubtful that the talent will translate to the NBA, because of other factors. I saw him get into a nasty fistfight in AAU ball, after being egged on by his coaches and posse. I haven't seen him in a few years, since he went to Arizona for prep ball.

Yo, I was in the building for that one too. Rooting for Washington unfortunately.
Went to Milwaukee Hamilton so I didn’t really have a dog in the fight, just wanted to see some high level prospects and it was a decent game in that regard. Seemed like Washington had more talent on paper but Johnson just was dominate in the paint. It’s funny because I drove out there with no tickets and ended up getting ripped off outside but it was a nice time.

Johnson may be disappointed to learn he might have to play more than one season for the same team.

I agree with you on foster all the way, great talent and just a man child with some skills but idk about his nba path but will still root for him.

He get's a pass for now

Plus we've already experienced drafting DJ Wilson in the 1st round. Can't get much worse than that.
