Re: 2021 Draft thread
I'll be watching the second round mostly to see who's left after the draft. Rosas did well in plucking some undrafted gems in the past (one of the few things he's objectively done well so far.) Luka Garza, RaiQuan Gray, Filip Petrusev, Matthew Hurt and Jericho Sims still on the board.

Re: 2021 Draft thread
Doesn’t it just feel like Rosas won’t be able to sit through 60 picks made by other GM’s, and will trade the new 2022 WAS 2nd (or hopefully just cash) for a 2nd in this draft, for a kid he identifies?

We have two centers, he is kinda low priority. Would be surprised if he was who we would trade for.

Re: 2021 Draft thread
EJ Onu is another guy that would be an interesting late 2nd/undrafted pickup. Played at considerably lower competition in NAIA, but is 6'11, 240 with a 7'9 wingspan. Monster shot blocker that can stretch the floor as well

Re: 2021 Draft thread
Petrusev gone. I liked what little I knew of him. Cooper FINALLY gets picked by the Hawks.
Garza too.
RaiQuan still a possibility! Matt Hurt could be coming home!

I think it's nuts Luka Garza went at 52. He was a monster in the Big Ten, the NBA really hates bigs. I wish we had a second-rounder to snatch him he can play, Detroit may have hit big getting him and the top pick.

Pacers on the board for last pick of the draft. Matthew Hurt? If not it makes so much sense for us to sign him.

He shouldn't have been drafted, it was a wasted pick, he is unplayable.

Re: 2021 Draft thread
What a suck-ass draft. The only move of note was losing one of our longest serving most admired Wolves.
Good night, y'all.

I mean, Rosas hs been amazing with the undrafted, low-end talent so I will be optimistic but man, I hope we don't come in trying to be small again next season.

Re: 2021 Draft thread
Between Wright and Isaiah Miller it certainly seems like Rosas believes the best value left on the table of this draft comes from the players passed over due to size. Still, 3 short PGs when you factor in JMAC isn’t great for defense or rebounding.

Last year you said Haliburton would suck. Your scouting record isn’t good.
