First of all, if you watched Juancho last year, you saw he was better as a SF next to Vanderbilt or McDaniels. But look, I’m not saying it’s pretty. I just think Rosas has a type, and having 4 SF/PFs who all offer something kind of unique is a luxury, especially in a long season when injuries happen.

The Wolves should have close to 80- points a game from Russell, Ant and Towns (that doesn’t even mention Beasley). At this point we just need guys who can fill a role and play it well.. McDaniels and Vanderbilt have proven they can fit a role (depends on what Vanderbilt can get this off-season). Okogie offers something to in this conversation. Hernangomez is more of an unknown. I will double down and say he looked good when he was next to Vando and McDaniels. He plays SF naturally with his cuts and willingness to shoot deep 3s. He also is outsized when he is asked to guard opposing PFs—he’s tall but not strong to handle that.

Look, I get your take and I'm not even saying that it doesn't make sense. But that lineup sucks and it's super small. So basically he wants to play four small forwards and say screw rebounding, interior defense and shot blocking. That could be true, I am quickly losing confidence in Rosas.

Will see what the final look of the team is but making yourself worse when you are one of the bottom teams in the league isn't a great start to next season

When the season starts Twolves better have a big sized PF on this roster who is capable of playing some decent minutes.

I wonder if we split it between a cheaper vet and an Ojeyle/Zach Collins upside play.

Small ball is/was/always will be the sin of Rosas. It just doesn’t work. That said, McDaniels and Vanderbilt can both guard the 4 in a pinch. Our biggest need is a legit PF or better yet a Center to allow Towns to guard the opposing PF and stop getting silly fouls battling down low. Either way, rebounding and shot blocking are big things we are missing. The Rubio trade only makes sense in the context of further moves, likely to trade away MB. If Nowell and Bolmaro are your backup 1/2, Okogie/prince are your backup 3, Juancho/Vando are your backup 4s and Reid/vet minimum are your backup 5s, then there is little room for Culver or Beasley.

I'm in the same camp as you. I think the sooner we move KAT to the 4 and get a real paint protector, the better the team will be.

I really don't like this move.

Fills the need perfectly and also seems like an average 3 pt shooter. I don't know much about his defense but this seems like a pretty decent trade from Rosas

He's in a similar mold as Covington.

No he's not. Avg to below average defender.

I dont need to be a fan to post on here.

Whats next? Watch Rosas blow that tiny little amount of cap space he has just created by overpaying for another teams scrub in Free Agency.

Angry elf… soccer guys know a lot about scrubs

The fact that you don‘t have anything Timberwolves related to post on this tells me you know that I am correct. Lmao.

Relating to football…yeah all the scrubs play in MLS.

No wonder you think that.

I woke up a little sad about not having Ricky here.

It helped to see his Olympic highlights vs Argentina, so I thought I’d pass that along if others feel the same way.

He might have hurt the tank next year. Rosas needed to quickly get rid of him.

I like how people are acting like this is it. Like "oh noes, now we have no backup PG! And Prince isn't a good PF, WTF Rosas! The whole season is RUINED!"

Relax. More is coming.

So far I am not at all impressed by Rosas' trades. He better does something good with the cap relief he got by sending Ricky to fu*ing Cleveland or I am legitimately pissed

I only liked the trade to get McDaniels and Bolmaro. IMO Bolmaro is better than the guy OKC picked at 6.
