Still pinching myself from tonight. Did we just draft our SG AND Center of the future? Wowwwwwwww.

Also, we straight up fleeced both the Knicks and the Pistons tonight. Knicks fans were sooooooo upset when they found out the protections in that pick. I am still shocked that the Knicks accepted. They almost got a better haul for 21 than they did for 19 lol. AT BEST they get a 15th pick out of this trade.

Great job Mitch and co.

Start them all together in the g league.

Sims is boring in a future prospect especially offensively, so it’s probably not surprising he slid so far.

Trading for Westbrook is now the go to desperation move when a team is all out of ideas on how to fix their situation and yeah, such a terrible fit with Lebron.

surprised Vrenz Bleijenbergh didn't get drafted at all.
I guess the craze for picking 7 foot ball handling euros has gone. he was definitely intriguing.

It went better than expected, especially considering that it did not really cost any assets lol... Time to develop

Very curious to see what they do with Monk & Graham now. Monk is kinda expandable now, but it would be nice to land another asset from a s&t from him

I liked Sims too but he impeded Kai Jones at Texas for 2 years so seems like wouldn't have been the ideal mental situation to inflict him on Jones here too

and for the Jared Butler fans out there pretty sure he dropped the way he did because of the heart/health issues
I mean its not every player who has to be cleared by a medical advisory board to be allowed to play

Mitch definitely hitting YOLO age, this draft could be nuts or could be do absolutely nothing for us. Bouknight and Jones floor is easily unplayably bad. in his shoes I'd have probably hedged myself a little with Kispert if I had a inkling of that Kai trade working out. but definitely hyped to see how the dicerolls go

I probably would have taken Moody/Garuba over Bouknight/Jones, but I like the YOLOs personally. Everyone we drafted has a decently high ceiling, hopefully we can bat .500.

I still don't know why the Knicks made the Kai Jones trade.
