Man... I say it all the time, but this draft really showed it.

2nd round picks are for nothing every year. Some people get so hung up on 2nds around here. They aren't worth much

I'm hyped, Boston is a very, very gifted scorer. Our SL squad is going to be fun to watch him with, Scrubb, Oturu, Johnson and Preston

Steal of the draft if Boston can put it all together.

Great talent and Kentucky killed his draft status.

Would love to hear who these posters are getting hung up on pick 50. I hadn't noticed this.

More so referring to kings pick #39.

Considering lots of 2nds moved hands very cheap tonight. (Higher than 50)

Just a few days ago I had a kings fan telling me take out #39 in a siakam trade that it was too much.

But I see it all the time. "1 2nd, 2 is too many". If I get the guy I want, you can have my next 5 2nds. I'll buy them the next year if there's a guy I want.

Hollinger has routinely described 2nd round picks as agents and teams making deals. Essentially agents contact a few teams in which their player would like to go to for a chance to make the roster and the teams draft whichever players want to go there.

Clippers love buying picks in the 50s it seems.

And Boston is worth a look. I think his ceiling is closer to a shooting specialist role player than whatever stardom his high school recruitment painted for him, and even that's going to take getting his %s up. But at 51? Who cares.
