Kid has maybe the single best single skill/talent in this draft with his vision/passing. It’s a good start. Having him as a long-term secondary type ball handler/playmaker to take some pressure off Ja makes complete sense, to me.

Could the Raptors sign and trade Kyle Lowry to the Pelicans for a TPE and then use that TPE to acquire another player via sign and trade? Purpose being to preserve their over-the-cap status and use of the MLE.

Example: Use TPE to sign and trade for Spencer Dinwiddie and then use MLE on Khem Birch and long-term deals for their second round picks.

VanVleet / Flynn
Dinwiddie / Trent Jr
Anunoby / Barnes
Siakam / Watanabe
Birch / Boucher
