long term play for sure but if that's the direction they wanna go I love it.

where does Josh fit stylistic in the current construct? Can he developed into more of the same with Johnson, Vassell, Walker, or is his ceiling higher than that?

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY

He got drafted very high, what does he project to become as a player?

Any word of other teams being keen to draft Primo? Find it hard to understand, why the Spurs couldn't trade down. A lot of upside being so young though . I completed missed him as a prospect lol I had him as the 4th best Alabama prospect I had Jaden Shackleford , Herbert Jones getting drafted before him and rated John Petty Jr better as a prospect

apparently.

ceiling higher than these guys for sure but doesn't come into the NBA with a clear path like a Vassell did for example.

honestly think they'll end up trying to develop him more as a lead guard but we'll see, still a long way there but love the pick.

easily the worst pick of the draft. There was so much talent still on the board. Disgraceful. It's becoming more and more obvious that Duncan carried Pop who is without a doubt a complete fraud without him

sga 2.0. i thought he was a bust but he doesnt look worse compared to vassell. i would redraft him in 12 considering how many crap prospects went from 10-15. hes in that giddey/wagner tier but those guys were grossly overrated.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

don't worry, if that guy hates a pick, most likely it's a good one.

Duncan was a real world Jackie Moon apparently. Starting PF, Head Coach, Head Scout, GM. No wonder the Spurs have fallen off since he left.

that's rich coming from you.

and also, it's not that Primo is a bad prospect, it's that there was way better still on the board and they could have taken him later after trading down and picking up more picks/assets. THAT's why it's the worst pick of the draft.

imagine not being able to admit the Spurs have fallen off since Ducan left. Too funny

They fell off once Kawhi left, but what does Duncan or Pop have to do with who they draft? doubt Pop has time to look at college players during the season, Duncan didn't even know who Ginobili was when he first got there, it doesn't make sense to say Duncan was carrying Pop based on who they took in this draft. No sense whatsoever.

You know all of that for a fact or just based on reading a random mock draft online? How do you know what trades were available for the Spurs to make? you work in a teams front office and are privy to these type of things? Just because Bill Simmons or some other random talking head says all these things doesn't make them true.

Primo worked out with all the teams in that range (San Antonio, Charlotte, New Orleans, Oklahoma City). I had the Spurs taking him for a while in my mock, and should have stuck with it. I think they knew Indy would take him over Duarte if they didn't get him at 13.

this guy really should not drop out of the 1st round, or even the first top20 picks, if he stays in the draft. good size for his position, decent ball skills, has some combo-guard potential, has a + athletic profile, shooting looks promising as well.

it'll be interesting to see if he decides to return or stay put in the draft, but either way probably deserves his own thread.

Any idea what happened Clyde? We both shared an affinity for this kid. I’m shocked and saddened

no idea my man, assuming something serious off the court at this point. they just exercised his option recently so timing doesn't make sense.

From the statements of both parties, it appears to be gambling addiction.
