Run It Back Trade Thread
Title speaks for itself, since we have a Ben Simmons trade thread and a Tobias Harris one how about one where our core 3 stay and we retool? Maybe we can all get along better in this one

I really hate Tobias the basketball player but honestly I think this might be our highest upside play this year. Maxey elevates this rosters ceiling and if Joel can make it through a playoff run healthy and we retool the rotation around those three a bit it will be a better basketball team.

NEED a stretch 4/5 that fits well with Ben so that we can get back to staggering he and Jo

Ahhhh the 2019-2020 team but better
Pick and roll guards
- Burks
- Burke
- Josh Rich
Stretch 5
- Al Horford
But an Al Horford caliber talent PnR guard like Reggie Jackson and a cheap like Burks, Burke or Jrich caliber stretch 5 like Dieng
Same food but different flavor

They are. Good but not really good
Josh Rich 30% of all his possessions are PnR .85ppp
Burke 42% of all his possessions are PnR 1.03ppp
Burks 37% of all his possessions are PnR .82ppp

Okay so the point here is what can we do to get a really good one to add to our core? And a fitting backup 5? Maybe even a backup 3/4 3 and D guy

Our core is Embiid, that's it, anyone else is a mediocre player at best. So if you mean that we shouldn't trade Embiid, the vast majority would agree.

We added a fun new, young guard that can hypothetically create offense. Isn't that enough for you fans?!?!

Re: Run It Back Trade Thread
After the draft, I noticed activity ON THIS BOARD slowed down.
Nobody admits it but almost everyone was disappointed how the draft went down.
3 meh guys drafted. No trades.
Nobody even created thread for players A, B and C that we drafted.
Then now sentiment is we’re just gonna run it back?

Perhaps reality is dawning on the mouthbreathers that Morey isn't dumb enough to throw away Ben for scraps.

I don’t understand why everyone is so upset about not trading Ben during the draft. We are in win-now mode.. not looking to collect draft picks. Warriors drafted Wiseman and his value plummeted.
It’s pretty clear Morey is waiting for Beal/Dame unless it’s a godfather offer for Ben. The criticism Morey is receiving right now is outrageous — can anyone name a better player OTB that helps jumpstart a rebuild better than Ben Simmons?

Somewhere in between.
I think most people expects to land Dame or Beal during draft day

Watched Ben Simmons at LSU highlights. We are using him wrong and completely destroyed his confidence. He's a point forward that needs shooters and a real scoring PG or two.
Tobias is a mediocre player with and franchise crippling contract. He needs to be traded and the idiot who signed him needs to be fired .

Or maybe, just maybe, nothing happens between draft and opening FA day

Maybe Westbrook got traded, favors got traded and josh richardson got traded. So not necessarily nothing happens. Anything can happen at anytime and nothing can happen anytime

Westbrook got traded on draft night yeah.
Now, if your ideas of "things happening" is cap space moves like Richardson and Favors..... yeah, sure, a lot of action

Needs to play with shooters and stretch 5. Trade him to one, they’ll overpay for him. I can see two teams. Bulls and Wolves
