I liken Reddish to a better Wiggins, not Paul George.

He does have a 2cent head on him but he is talented no doubt about it.

The fit would be better anyway and younger too for the starting wing spot.

I mean Thybulle for Reddish wont seem out of the question here.

It seems likely the Sixers move 28 tonight. But the Ben trade doesn’t seem imminent. Be interesting to see what Morey pulls off.

Milton and #28 to the Pelicans for Walker and #43 works for me.

Rumor has it though Griffin told his coaching candidates one of the qualifications of getting the job was they had to start NAW and Lewis in the backcourt this season. So I don’t think NAW is for sale.

But hell yeah, if New Orleans will take that deal. The Pels can keep 43 and the Sixers will add 50. I’d even consider adding a 2023 1st.

But the guy I’d rather have, and I really hope that if it is at all possible Morey acquires him… SGA.

They’re cousins, actually. Can the Sixers get both?

Bonus question: do the Sixers trade Tobias tonight? That would be a nice start to the offseason for me.

Harris and 28 for Gallo and Reddish? Then the Hawks can listen to S&T deals for Collins?

Here goes my best shot at retooling our squad:

POR gets: De'Aaron Fox, Tobias Harris, Marvin Bagley, 1 FRP from SAC
POR deals: Lillard, CJ McColumn, Covington

SAC gets: CJ McColumn, Ben Simmons, Paul Reed, Milton, 2 FRP's from Philly
SAC deals: De'Aaron Fox, Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley, Wright, FRP
(SAC probably deals Hield after this trade)

PHI get: Damian Lillard, Robert Covington, Harrison Barnes, Delon Wright
PHI deals: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Paul Reed, Milton, 2 FRP's

Portland gets a young all-star, a young developping big, future picks and cap relief
Sacramento gets much more D, a steady veteran to guide their young backcourt, an upgrade at PF and 2 future FRP's
Philadelphia gets Lillard, still enough defense, more veteran leadership and more cap flexibility in the near future
PG: Dame
SG: Curry/Wright
SF: Barnes
PF: Covington
C: Embiid

Bench: Maxey, Wright/Curry, Thybulle, Howard (resigned), Green (resigned) ...

That's terrible for Portland and waaaay to good for Sixers

Well, not all trades are 100% or even close to equal?
If Lillard wants out, Portland will have to reboot. McColumn is a negative contract and doesn't fit a rebuilding team.
Covington is a FA next season.

You could add more picks off course, but rebuilding with De'Aaron Fox, Bagley and let's say 3 extra first round picks is a good start.
It's better than what Houston took for Harden.

Harris contract is at least as negative as CJ, maybe even more. So Portland essentialy trades Lillard for Fox, negative contract, bust and one FRP. Come on man, that's complete garbage.
On Sixers side, you'd have to add multiple picks and Maxey+Thybulle to Simmons to make it competitive for Lillard. Ben just isn't that valuable right now.

Dead wrong Tobias is a superior player to CJ.. he is slightly overpaid. CJ is overrated because he benefits greatly from Lillard. Put Lillard on the Sixers and Tobias goes to a new level but McCoulmn will crash and burn without Lillard.

Disagree and I dont miss many Blazer games.

CJ thrives when Lillards out. Doesn’t happen much because Lillard misses few games.

Tobias for CJ will probably never even make it to a proposal, as Philly is hoping for Dame to be unhappy, and want to move. If they trade CJ for an upgrade at PF (or anywhere on the roster) there is a slighlty smaller chance Dame asks out.

I think we should just totally abandon the idea, let them get beat up in the west and have Dame demand a trade leading up to the deadline.

The fact is - they are both neutral contracts at best. That offer is insulting for Blazers

Question for you guys, and maybe honestly we should make this it’s own thread just for the sake of different discussion, if our core 3 stay, what moves do you guys want? Or even what are some prospective ones? How can we add a 5th high level starter? Can we get a guy that forces Curry to the bench?

Trading guys like Thybulle, Maxey, Milton, Hill, Curry or even Springer plus 1st round picks I don't think gets you even close to someone effective, let alone a "All Star" talent, like they need at SF, SG, or PG.

That's a significant character/chemistry downground. Hield and Bagley are toxic, mopey dudes.

I want Tobias and his contract off this team badly.
