Ross will be traded very soon. There is a lot of interest around the league for him. It’s only a matter of time.

TPE will not be used.

MCW can be traded if someone wants him for a pick but is likely of more value to us as a vet on a small deal.

Harris feels like more of a trade deadline deal for a team looking to add a vet and cut costs for the upcoming summer.

We are not trading Cole. Come on people.

Fultz is absolutely fair game for a trade once healthy and Suggs gets settled.

If we're really going pass, pace and space, i don't see any place for a black hole like Bacon. His situation needs to be clarified within days, so i expect him to be the first trade.

Ross will probably be sent packing, but this FO has never rushed into letting go players they perceive have market value. I don't think he'll be the first trade.

Got to be TRoss, I probably liked him when he was here the first year…..then all of a sudden his shot selection eroded my will…it’s time to let him walk the plank

Ross earned a trade to a contender, he is propably also worth more.

Went Ross. It just makes sense. It won't be Cole. Gary's $20 million expiring could be valuable during the season. Fultz's trade value is too low to bother after the injury, might as well build it back up and see what we got. Bamba gets one more chance. MCW should be fine being 3rd string. Bacon won't get you anything and is fine depth.

However, don't sleep on mr. TPE! :D

I think it’ll be Bamba.

Both centers contracts are up next summer. They won’t re-sign both (either?). Just playin the odds, they try to get some value out of Bamba a la the Elfrid deal.

I think our most immediate move will be trading T-Ross. He’s got the most value of anyone on our roster right now in trade scenarios. A team looking to improve their playoff stock will look hard at him. I smell the Clippers.

To me, Harris is probably a deadline trade likelihood. The team isn’t trying to win and he’s only here for a paycheck. A contender may be interested in him for playoff depth.

I don’t honestly get the Fultz trade wishes, RJ and Cole are backups in all likelihood and Fultz probably has very little trade value due to that injury. I personally want to see him and Suggs in the same backcourt. Fultz was pretty damn close to completely turning a corner before that knee injury. If he gets to where he was playing in December, and improves that jumper, the Magic’s backcourt will be very formidable. Fact Is Markelle is at least a year and a half away from having serious trade suitors so it behooves the Magic and it’s faithful that he bounces back. I think he does.

why though? Suggs isnt a SG and neither is Fultz. Suggs has shown he makes winning plays, you want the ball in his hands. playing him with Fultz, who has the ball? and if its Suggs, defenders will sag off Fultz.

This is where I am with Fultz…

Suggs is starting day 1. You don’t pick him in the top 5 without him starting. Fultz is not better than him in any category.

Fultz isn’t a shooting guard. He provides nothing that RJ, Harris, or Ross don’t provide. If anything, he provides less.

Cole and MCW, to a lesser extent, both provide more off the bench in different circumstances.

So, Fultz is a 3 year / $17m contract now coming off a serious injury that doesn’t really provide his value.

Suggs and RJ. That's my backcourt right now.

Ross and Harris are waiting for the phone to ring. I'm not chasing them out the door, but it wouldn't take much to pry them loose.

Cole did about as well as I expected in his rookie season and I didn't expect much. He has the confidence. He doesn't have the game.

The Fultz extension is probably the worst piece of business this front office has done since taking over. We lost that trade. It was probably a worthwhile gamble given that we didn't have anything resembling a prospect in our backcourt at the time and we didn't give up a lot, but what we gave up proved more valuable in retrospect and we saw enough in that first year to know that Washington Fultz is long gone. The extension is just indefensible. He should've been given a "prove it" contract (or just released) and was instead given a multi-year deal that paid him almost $17M per annum. In the end, he is going to get about $60M from this franchise and for what? Philadelphia dodged that bullet.

I voted for Fultz. So we can give more PT to Cole, RJ and Suggs.

I am not seeing us trading Harris. He is an expiring contract and we could possibly have 30M in salary space next offseason

Yeah, we basically gifted him a huge contract with not much to back it up.

Suggs and RJ are the future back court for this franchise and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s even better that they have history together.

Ross shouldn't be on the opening day roster. We need Harris to get minutes to rehab is value a bit so we can flip him before the deadline. If Weltman wasn't having a laugh when he said Fultz might be ready for the season opener then we really do have a log jam of guards. Probably will see 3 guards playing together often.

2 year contract. The contract doesn't look good, but it's not the end of the world. I want to see Fultz and Suggs playing PG, not next to each other. Suggs starting is fine. but like you said Fultz isn't a shooting guard in the NBA in 2021. Fultz is a better point guard than Cole (right now).

Fultz should be first to go, but i find his contract close to untradable without attacing anything good next to his name.
So it's probably Ross.

There is simply too many PG-SGs right now. Suggs should be starter from day one. Normally i'm not big proponent of this move, but in Orlando it's clear Suggs today is better PG than Cole and Fultz.

3 PGs 2 SGs and Ross, total body count is at 6. Even if you play Ross at SF off bench, 5 players still won't make final rotation, one will get regular DNP-CDs before injuries and another one will be limited to 10-12 mpg and probably not happy camper.
NBA teams play 9 to 10 men rotations, minus blowouts. Normally starters get 28-33 min, backups 14-20 min. It's impossible to play 5 of them on regular bases.

One of worst ideas i see floating around is playing Suggs at SG just to squeeze Fultz back in starting 5. Why? What a hell he ever proved to be worth sabotaging 5th overall pick? He is one of worst 1# picks in history. After 5 years his medical record is waaaaay bigger book than his "baskestball achivments" book.
6'3 guard without jumpshot who can't provide anything for you if he is not manipulating ball whole possession long. Let's not turn this into another Payton- Oladipo situation, where we kept hurting Oladipo to "develop" Payton who never showed anything.

Maybe we could start Fultz to raise his value and trade him at the deadline if his shot doesnt improve ? I like Suggs but only handful of players should be starters in the nba from the beginning. Looking at Suggs he propably has that competetive nature to do it but you never know. Summer league will give some answers. (maybe)

Suggs/Anthony/Hampton/Wagner/Bamba
