Best case is this kid ends up in Europe for three years and then Detroit owns his rights when he's ready to come back Stateside. No way this is anything other than a draft and stash.

I think he could sign a g-league contract for $70K or whatever they pay their non-NBA affiliated players and Detroit would keep his rights as a SRP much like if he signed to play in Europe.

I think it's mostly about the stroke from deep. He didn't shoot from deep at FSU but most believe it was due to game plan/coaching and not lack of ability. I think he'll be a two way player for the Pistons.
