At the same time Jrue and Khris will average +5 more points per game.

Lonzo at 4/80 is a good deal IMO. Guy can legit shoot now and can play make. I think that’s good value for him. I don’t thunk we could do a deal without a S&T but I’d be happy with him at that amount.

Could regret this post a lot but I’ve been impressed how Lonzo has evolved.

Yeah I think that's very reasonable for what he offers. But it's that sort of contract that's a bit in between, and you're on the hook for a good chunk of money overall for a complementary piece.

For us specifically we could get better value. I guess we basically have to!

This is it exactly. Transparently so.

And the reason the RWB deal is public is that no one in that leak is a FA and during the moratorium.

Including Schroeder in public announcements (who can't be negotiated with at this time) would be what we got hit for.

I bet they have a MLE guy lined up too, though no idea who that might be.

I don’t think I’d really be comfortable paying that much for him but he’s turned into a pretty good off ball guard and is definitely a player that will help his team.

He's pretty good but just such a misfit. Can't guard the PG, and easy to defend as a pick and roll ballhandler because he can't hit a pull up. Those are real problems if you sign him to be your PG.

Lonzo would be killer in Donte’s role.

Shot 40% on catch and shoot threes last year. And we all know he can make plays. Jrue would run point but Midds and Lonzo would be elite secondary ball handlers with Giannis doing his thing off ball. Would Donte + something get it done for the Pels?

I wonder whether the glut of guards on Chicago means Satoransky or Arcidiacano are available. Satoransky would be a pretty solid pickup, or at the very least an upgrade on Forbes.

Edit: nevermind Satoransky is getting $10 mill this year. Arcidiacano is decent but we can probably find a better guy chasing a ring.

Yeah, he’s more of an off ball guard at this point but a good one for sure. Teams shouldn’t be signing him to be their primary ball handler.

If I recall correctly, Sato’s contract is only partially guaranteed and there’s buzz they might sign Lonzo and Rose and waive Sato

Wonder what Miami has going on, most people are saying picking up Dragic is most likely a trade. If he goes to a non contender I see him being bought out and being a nice in season pick up type of guy.

Confirmation without confirming it. This could make Miami pretty dangerous for one good run if oladipo comes back somewhat healthy and they somehow keep Robinson

They have bird rights on Robinson right, so it’s not really a “how do they keep him” situation. I guess he could theoretically be involved in the sign and trade but we’ll see. Toronto will want to do Lowry a solid so they’ll probably settle for Dragic and cap filler if I had to guess.

Crazy how we're hearing about this Lowry to Miami S&T when free agency hasn't even started.

But it's different because none of those tweets use the phrase "done deal"
