Harris and Curry for Wiggins, Wiseman and Kuminga

Simmons and Hill for Hield, Barnes and Mitchell.

Reroute Kuminga and Mitchell for Sexton.

Pickup as many future picks, if possible.

Sexton, Hield, Wiggins, Barnes, Embiid
Maxey, Shake, Thybulle, Reed, Wiseman

Harsh reality is Simmons nor Harris is getting a star back, unless giving up the cupboards and the farm.

So we want all terrible players/prospects from both the Warriors and the Kings?

Two players need to be traded - Simmons and Harris. Its gotta be done and they will have to overpay.

Trade 1
Trade Simmons + Maxey + Springer + 2022 RD1 for Fox

Trade 2
Trade Tobias + Thybulle + Shake + 2023 RD1 for CJ & RoCo.

FA
Sign Bobby Portis for PF.

Tobias for a proven lead guard
Thybulle at SF and Ben at PF will fix the team.

I would almost be okay with a 1 year reset of the entire franchise, focused on clearing cap and allowing Joel to play alongside the youth and see how far he can take them, while recruiting stars for the offseason.

LaVine, Steph, Kawhi...

Embiid could recruit and if there is enough cap space to sign 2 of those, or sign 1 trade for another using the assets from Ben trade...

Find me a couple 1 year deals for Tobias and Ben. Don't re-sign Danny. Keep Hill this year to groom the young guards. You'd walk into the 2022 off season with:

Maxey
Curry/Springer/Joe
Thybulle/Henry
Reed
Embiid/Petrusev/Bassey

With 5 spots to fill and a young team with draft picks from trading Ben and Tobias, cap space, and a long term plan.

If that’s the case just keep them both.

Ok awesome champ. I see no ideas coming from you.

Btw, I completely disagree with you. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Teams who win in the NBA can shoot lights out. The Sixers can't shoot for *&Y#. With the below team, they can shoot.

Tobias Harris + 1st rnd pick swaps for Gary Harris + Terrence Ross

Tobias Harris + 2x 2nd picks for Steven Adams + Eric Bledsoe

Tobias Harris + George Hill + 1st rnd pick for CJ McCollum + Robert Covington

Maybe these are the routes to take imo. We are stocked good on young talent with Maxey/Springer/Thybulle so it’s solid for a couple of years.

Eric or Gary can be the overpaid 3+D guard (we split the Harris contract up) and Ross as the shooter off the bench or add Adams as an overs backup big. Next year it’s partial for Bledsoe so we shed a ton of excess $$$. Pelicans ain’t a FA destination so there’s cap and opens up spacing for Ingram/Zion with Adams and Bledsoe gone. Adams as the starter when Embiid inevitably misses games (1/3 is the ratio every year).

The CJ + Roco one as been said before but it’s the right move to make tbh.

All three trade scenarios we get exp players that are ready to go, contribute and is fair value.

Also posted this in the Ben thread, but wanted it here too. Assuming the Bulls are the Bulls and still insist on winning now since they made that awful Vucevic deal, I think this is spot on:

CHI gets Lonzo (S&T 3-60), McCollum, and 2024 POR 1st
NOP gets Aminu and 2022 POR 1st
PHI gets Satoransky and LaVine
POR gets Simmons

Why is the bulls downgrading from lavine to CJ if they are trying to win?

And trading LaVine for an inferior player in McCollum achieves that?

That's a significant character/chemistry downground. Hield and Bagley are toxic, mopey dudes.

I think I agree with what you said about Hield and Bagley. However, I've gotta ask... what makes you think Tobias is not exactly what you say Hield and Bagley are? His "community" work? He has somehow managed to wiggle his way into a contract paying an average of $36m per year despite his level of talent. I seem to remember Tobias pushing a young Aaron Gordon out of the way to get rebounds when they were on the Magic and Tobias wanted a bigger contract. So the difference between them is that one already got his money or you'd see something different, while the other two are looking for theirs.

Kawhi interests me. Just sayin. I imagine Morey is at least trying to have that conversation.

Kawhi would a huge deal. He’s the perfect player for Embiid/Simmons in theory but the leadership tangibles would be just as bad for us. But the ceiling is immense and is championship quality no doubt about it.

Though I think Kawhi really has two more legit playoff runs in him. Which is basically what Embiid has, one of his legs has plagued him since his Spurs days. The group he rolls with is keeping it hush hush big time but I reckon it’s degenerative. In the finals in 19’ he was hampered even in the Bucks series. Still he went full Robo Jordan lol

Harris seems to be very revered by coaches and teammates. Seems like a good dude from the stuff I've read and heard. I can't seem to find any bad stories about Harris, can you?

I think the deal would be to swap Simmons for him in a S&T. Move Harris for McCollum and re-sign Green.

McCollum/Maxey/Springer
Green/Milton/Hill
Kawhi/Thybulle/Joe
(MLE)/Reed/Tolliver
Embiid/(Vet Min)/Bassey

If you have to take a year off, so be it. At least we get something of value for Ben instead of Buddy Hield and future picks.

Ben Simmons, 2023 1st, and 2027 1st to CHI for LaVine and S&T Markkanen (4-60)

Then they just need to dump Tobias for lower paid trash to get under the apron.
