9.5 for MLE and 20 mill to resign our own players. I am thinking Robinson will be traded.

Lock this thread up. We need a new one for the fireworks and the deep deep sorrow.

If that's our only big move, it might be time for Pat to find a successor.

Achuiwa was shooting 3's but it still was slow and not something you want him doing a lot. He did not look great when the games counted in the Olympics. He is replaceable

I don't know how I feel about Lowry. Just too old. He alone doesn't put us over the top. Needs to be part of a big move where Jimmy is no longer the main scoring option. With Jimmy as number 1, we don't win a title.

This.

We went the easy rout - overpaying for old guy whos freinds with Jimmy. Gave up Precious to do so.

That's not how you win in the NBA.

The easy path is not the winning path.

We don't even have contracts anymore to match Ingram WTF. Ingram makes 30 not even Duncan gets you in the neighborhood

Oladipo s&t in a package with Herro and whatever else? Maybe a 3 team deal?

Thing this, none of us really know what the hypothetical Lowry deal consists of so impossible to know what Mia will have left over to include in additional maneuvers.

I don't think there was an easy path but the one that its seems they are taking has the biggest risk long term. It was either this, or move Butler to go on Bam's timeline or not overpay which would risk loosing out on the key guys.
I would have explored moving Butler and you would have to convince him of the move so as to risk backlash from future FAs. I don't like the Derozan fit however if they somehow are able to get Ingram instead I would love that even if it meant overpaying Lowry. But I don't get why NO would want to trade him. Long athletic wings who can handle and score on 3 levels are the crown jewels of the NBA. If you can motivate Ingram to reach his ceiling you have a top 10 player. It makes 0 sense to trade him

So Lowry: shooter, Bam: non shooter, Derozan: non shooter, Butler: non shooter and 5th guy ??: hopefully a stretch 4 or 5.

Fit doesn't make sense. Good luck in the playoffs in a half court offense.
