Honestly not a terribly constructed lineup if we hit on the MLE and BAE. DeRozan could be this team's Ginobili off the bench playing all the minutes at the backup 2-3 spot with some spot 4. Easy 30 minutes a night off the bench for him.

He’s going to have suitors, as much as some Heat fans dislike him for whatever reason. Houston and Washington have been mentioned, more teams will be in the mix.

Derozan off the bench would be nice. Also, Jimmy is sure to miss plenty of games. Add in that we could sub in DD when Jimmy has one of his deferring games and it could work.

Sorry but i gotta vent… Im telling you all right now, i rather blow it up and acquire assets and build around Bam, rather than bring in old guys that will be useless after one season.

Ive been calling for blowing up ever since we got swept. If this front office thinks Butler is going to remain the same player he was in the bubble, two years from now.. and they wanna offer him a 4 year extension? thats asking for a straight path to the lottery.

I said it, lets trade Butler now. He has shown signs of breaking down. Lets not wait till he is a complete shell of himself… now we wanna add two more dinosaurs next to him… and possibly give up Some young players for it.

We can get first round picks and other assets we would need to acquire a special talent.

All these teams like the Lakers and others are able to make moves because they dont empty their tank on “almost” superstars.. we empty our tank on dragic, we overpay players like waiters, jj, tj, ryan anderson… olynyk…

We have got to rethink how we do this… its always the Heat trying to do the most with little.

I'm guessing if DeRozan really wants to come join his buddy Lowry it's going to have to be via the MLE. If not going to have to get creative with Duncan Robinson S&T to the Spurs. I don't think Iguodala is getting any type of pay day at 37. He's a vet minimum player at this point and nobody is giving out charity.
