we've discussed this before many many times on the board
whatever you think of any players is completely immaterial. we're spending all of the capspace by RJ's max, and that is guaranteed.
The other players are material, if the Knicks overpay for mediocre talent they are a treadmill team not a contender. Did you miss that part?
If the Knicks can underpay for quality talent then when they do use up all the cap space it's a team that contends...not pretends.
