Looks like our front office isn't sold on the long term future of a non-offensive rim runner if we're trying to get Turner. I wonder which of us thought like that a year ago

Knicks aren't getting Turner, not after the Pacers hired Rick C. as coach.

But I can see the interest. Turner has some ability to function as a 4 instead of a pure 5.

In fact, he'd kind of be cool backing up both Mitch and Randle if Obi was traded.

Otherwise, don't see this happening, and kind of don't want it to, as whatever offense Turner brings, offset by his lesser defense, since obviously Mitch would be going out in the trade.

Love Mitch but Turner makes us better, he can at minimum spread the floor and hit free throws. With Carlisle, they not in a rush to break it up. So annoying…

I’d rather pay Gary Trent a decent amount more than Fournier. Fournier is uninspiring. He’s a solid scorer and ok shooter while being meh defender.

Fact is this is the Knicks reality. No stars want out and the Knicks don’t have the assets to acquire them without having nothing left on there team
At the same time they have all this cap and no real great players to add to it. And soon they gotta max Randle and rj.
The move should be sending out a few picks and finding a young player like a Sexton or SGA.
So if they ball out this year you entice Beal or lavine or someone to come to the Knicks

Lay some chips down on the table for SGA or Sexton or fox


But giving Fournier 15+ and following it up with overpaying Schroeder or Reggie Jackson or cam Payne is going to be disgusting to watch. And that is brutal
