Otto Porter shouldn't take up much cap space, but he's become even more injury-prone than Gordon. Could use Reggie Bullock or Josh Hart but they're RFAs. If McDermott doesn't pan out, how about Sterling Brown?

Bullock or McDermott would be fire.

Oubre I feel like would be too good of a player for the role we'd need him to fill, and would get disgruntled for the role he'd need to accept (backup wing).

Sterling Brown wouldn't be too bad. You'd think he'd be cheap...feels like him and Glenn Robinson III are similar.

Wayne Ellington...? Meh.

Danny Green or Garrett Temple would be solid...both pretty old but definitely good stop gaps.

I actually wouldn't mind Kent Bazemore.

Lots of options. Keep it up Mitch!

I want no further part of Biz. Surely there's some UDFA that's better than stone hands. Hell I'd rather give Vernon or Richards those minutes now they have a year of professional basketball under them.

For as many jokes that Biz takes among Hornet fans, he actually is playable for 25 mpg if you need him in a pinch. The problem occurs when he has to play that every night for a month and teams start to play us differently because he isn't an offensive player.

According to Offensive and Defensive rating, the team gave up and scored the same amount of points per 100 possessions when he was on the floor. This doesn't seem awful for a backup center, plus he is a good Vet to teach the young guys as he was the VP of players association for a bit if I remember correctly.

I am simply talking about as a guy to fill in for the occasional injury and potentially cover some third center minutes until Kai is up and rolling for the season. Think we could do a lot worse.

I was expecting all sorts of FA rumors today, surprised it's been so quiet.

I think last summer's Bogdanović mess left everyone gun shy.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Are there any free agents we are rumored to be after?

Nope, seems like nothing gets out of this FO before it happens.

Zach Collins is going to be a FA (not tendered). If he is healthy again, that could be a good back up for Plumlee/Jones

Former Duke player Justise Winslow could probably be had for really cheap. Low risk, high reward. Can play 1-4.

Winslow was epically horrible last year.

Since we aren’t bringing Monk back, it would be great to land a sharp shooter from 3. I’d be down for Duncan Robinson

Right now I've got the team at up to 28 players of varying status.

11 guaranteed contracts
4 unsigned draft picks
6 *rumored* camp invites
1 RFA
6 UFAs

Gonna see a lot of guys renounced soon.

He was hurt. But can be a bargain price now. He was very good in 2018-19 when he played pg due to all the injuries.

My personal theory is neither Martin twin will be on the roster next season. Combine the cap we have left and the roster spot crunch, and something's gotta give.

Miami Winslow was good, if it looks like he can return to that form, I’d be all for taking him

Winslow played 26 games last season and only 11 the one before that. Previous years were 66, 68, and 18 again back in 2016-17.

I'd be interested in Winslow if he never had hip replacement surgery. Like, that just sounds awful.

Wow, I didn’t realise he had a hip replacement!
Yeah, no thanks , I can’t see anyone returning to form after that.

Cody can do everything Winslow can do now, at fraction of the price and without any injury history. Hard pass.

I still believe our biggest need is a veteran Wing 3-point shooter, preferably one with some size.
