This can't be right. 20m Dragic and Precious is less valuable than letting him go for nothing to NO or whatever.

Well Lowry is a free agent so it's not an actual trade where Toronto is trying to get back equal value

There's going to be lots of dominos falling after a Lowry deal.

We're apparently in on Lou Williams too in addition to trying to bring back Bobby and PJ. Idk where this money is coming from, but sure!

Monk could be worth a flyer as a 6th man for the right price. He was pretty decent last year. Surprised the Hornets are letting him go.

Only three paths available. Lou is willing to take a minimum contract to ring chase if they are using the TPMLE on Portis. OR Lou is a backup option if Portis leaves so Lou is getting some of the TPMLE. OR Portis is going to be even more of a team player and take the 4.4M they can re-sign him for (120% of prior salary) which would allow them to still use the TPMLE on other players and Lou is one of those other players.

Lou and PJ are pretty garbage at this point and both want multiyear deals

dumb **** Bucks will give it to them. 35 year old cooked Lou Williams and 36 year old PJ Tucker are what we rolling back?

Masai passed on some big hauls for Lowry last season for this comparative poo poo platter from Miami.

Free Agency Preview from The Athletic: https://theathletic.com/2746050/2021/08/02/nba-free-agency-preview-lakers-and-clippers-options-latest-on-kawhi-leonard-and-chris-paul-and-more/

Not really anything groundbreaking here, but:

- All signs point to Kawhi re-signing
- Likewise with CP3 re-signing
- Likewise with Mike Conley
- Hawks will likely match any John Collins offer sheet
- Outside of Miami, Dallas and New Orleans are still pursuing Kyle Lowry
- DeRozan to the Lakers is dead with the Westbrook trade; DeRozan may ultimately return to San Antonio
- Chicago is the most likely landing spot for Lonzo Ball, but Boston and Dallas are in pursuit as well
- "Some strongly suggest Tim Hardaway Jr. is looking to leave Dallas"

Ah, the start of free agency. Always brings back memories of how we were all like "HOLY **** WE HAVE ARRIVED" when the Bucks signed Greg Monroe.

I have no problem with bring PJ back... if for anything to have a tradeable salary in a year as a filler. You can't use PJ's money on anyone else either, so its worth bringing back. Lou is odd to me, but the bucks struggle with bucket getters outside the big three. for the minimum, lou is fine as that 8th - 10th man who will go off every once in a while.

Didn't Lasry get Bill Clinton involved recruiting him or something?

Yeah, if I was a Raptors fan, I’d rather have cap space.

Is Masai the new Hammond? Dude loves his long, athletic tweener forwards that can't shoot (Barnes, Siakim, Stanley Johnson, Bruno, RHJ, Bembry), so wouldn't exactly be a surprise if he values Achiuwa (bless you).

Seems like he spends every draft trying to find the next Giannis. In fact when I watched the draft this year it felt like a bunch of teams reached on athleticism hoping to find the next Giannis.

Funny because I hear Giannis is not fun to watch....etc....etc....

Dorsey is Greek, so this could be interesting. He was pretty bad when he was with Memphis.

Yes, I know I am incredibly naive, but I'll ask this anyway? How can Woj and others know about specific trades (e.g Toronto and Miami)
unless those teams have been speaking to each other? And in that case, how does that differ from the Bucks with Bogi?
