Why would you want Wiggins and his monster contract? He's owed 32m this year and nearly 34m the next. :o

You'd rather bring back ennis?

We could use a talented wing with some experience.
I'd be surprised if the made a big move like that until they find out what we have. They probably want Franz and Chuma to get minutes at the 3 to start the season.

I tend to agree that this isn't the time to make that kind of move but...you could argue that someone will likely benefit from GSW's likely moves for a run for the championship...I'd love to upgrade our kiddy corps from a team that has higher aspirations for this season. Unfortunately, we don't have a LOT in the way of win-now vets, but all 4 offered her would provide immediate value and depth NOW...

ORL sends Gary Harris, Terrence Ross, Wendell Carter Jr., Cole Anthony
(Hate to give up Cole but he's ready to contribute and we are loaded at ball handling guards now-if you believe in Fultz and Hampton)

GSW sends Wiggins, Wiseman, Moody
(Wiggins only has two more years, Moody provides the legit shooter we're lacking, Wiseman has higher upside than our present centers...we could possibly flip Wiggins later (or maybe he hits his massive potential with Mosley). The others are solid, if unspectacular ar upgrades for depth.

One move I could get behind is waive and stretch Harris. Then sign Olynyk for 3 yrs 50m. I know that's a lot for a backup PF/C, but if one of Isaac, Bamba, or WCJ go down, he could step in. Plus he seems like a glue guy that plays the right way.

With Harris out of the way, we could start Suggs and Markelle.

3 years @ 50M is a way over pay for Kelly. 3 yrs @ 30M is an overpay. He'll be lucky to get the full mid.

Waive and stretching Harris is the simplest and cleanest way, BUT:
1. I still think he has value and could get us something in return toward the trade deadline, if nothing, we could then waive and stretch.
2. no point of stretching his salary when we don't need remove it this year, and we may need the extra 5M ( difference from offering 18M to 23M a year) for a FA.

***EDIT****
after I wrote the above, I read the following from Hollinger, which I may be wrong about K.O. ( I can't believe it, so I'm leaving my statement up top on him)

"Kelly Olynyk is likely to have interest from Detroit, which needs another big after trading Mason Plumlee and could use his shooting. The key here is that the Pistons have enough cap room to pay him above the MLE, his likely price target from several other suitors. The Pistons also may bring back veteran Cory Joseph, even though they just waived him, as his price on a new deal will be significantly less than the contract they just expunged."

But how do we go on without his scoring?

Well...we were almost the worst NBA team on his best scoring year. It's kinda impossible to be worse without him XD

Eh... I always thought he was borderline a dirty player.
