2022 Free Agent Targets

Post#1 » by bluerap23 » Mon Aug 2, 2021 2:32 pm

I know it is very early, but the Berrios acquisition has accelerated thoughts for next year. With no "bad" money on the books, it looks like we will be players in the market for the third consecutive year and I expect we will attempt to target a top 10 free agent.

Who would you like to see targeted (and/or brought back) in Free Agency for 2022?
Of note - there are some elite SS available.

Would love for us to go after José Ramírez in the off-season. I think we can put a package together to get him. He has 2 more years on his current contract. A UFA in 2024. He would fit in nicely with this this team and fill a hole at 3B. Definitely need another SP if we can't sign Ray. Syndergaard would be nice.

Resign Ray, sign Marcus Stroman.

Would love to get Correa.
