Be on the look out for Rudy Gay. He's crazy close with these guys. Makes a lot of sense for that 3.7 BAE. Lakers don't have much to offer him either. If it comes down to it I bet he's taking the deal with us.

One thing I will say, Miami always looks good on the floor when they have a legit 7 footer, it's mostly due to the play style. it's why even when we play an over the hill vet somehow we end up getting very good +- numbers on the board. I would say perhaps move BAM down to PF, and get a legit Center instead is another thing we can look at instead of looking for that unicorn cheap BAE Power forward, who can shoot the ball.

for a backup PF role - great.

But we've got to get a stronger, bigger PF defender.

Bam can't be the only real big in the rotation.

Counting on 35YO Gay to start is not a good plan

Agreed. I'm not saying he should be relied upon for no more then 20 minutes. Still a solid addition to the team for the price.

That means getting San Antonio to play ball via a S&T with Nunn. They might not want him. Duncan on the other hand I would think they would be all over. In this case you use the MLE to get shooters like Danny Green etc.

Yup, when we had a front court of BAM, and Meyers they played very well together, when Meyers was healthy. Having a 7 foot floor spacing big next to BAM would be great, maybe a Mo Wagner, or an Alex Len?

Got to Admit - In my wildest dreams I didn't think us getting DeRozn for MLE is a real possibility.

I still can hardly believe it, but sources seem legit so who knows..

Oh God No, I thought it was 1PM the magic hour.
I guess that works, I get off work at 5PM, my commute is about 1.5 hour drive from Tampa to Orlando so I will be arriving just in time to see some good news hopefully.

I have thought from the beginning that a Duncan S&T for Derozan and a young guard makes a lot of sense
