Goran Dragic Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by HeatIn5 » Mon Aug 2, 2021 5:18 pm

Since the Lowry thread was started, I figure it's time we start this discussion too.

Thank you, Goran, for being such a great player for the culture. Every time he was on the court he gave us his all. If only Bosh didn't get blood clots the day we got Goran, we may have won a title that year.

The most wholesome player to me, alongside CB ofcourse.

Will miss this guy a lot. Always gave his 100% with or without injuries.

Since we already had a deal to move to Dallas last year, I'll hold off with my goodbyes for now

Haha no thanks…but I don’t ser why he’d get retired. What did he accomplish here that was worthy of it? I also don’t think Jimmy deserves his retired either

Dragic has built equity with this franchise. In the post Wade-draft he's the third or fourth longest tenured player we have. His numbers as a player here compare favorably to Timmy's, he doesn't have the all-nba team appearances but he was instrumental in helping lead this team to a Finals appearance.

Thanks for the memories Goran. Worst luck getting traded here the same day Bosh goes down then making it to the finals only to go down in the first game. I hope he makes his way to a contender.

Been a fantastic player for this ball club for a long time now. No ego, gracefully accepted coming off the bench as an impact player. Nearly helped win us a chip before the injury gods struck him down.

He was worth the 2 x FRPs we paid, comfortably IMO.

Thanks for memories Gogi!!

We had a legit chance at beating the 2020 Lakers, and Dragic FINALLY gets the chance he has been waiting for... the entire reason he came to Miami..

and he gets injured in Game 1.

And been injury prone since.

Thanks Goran, sorry about Chris Bosh's blood clots.
