I don't have FVV worth that much.

I have him worth more than wiseman though hmm. I also have him more valuable than smart and a 1st. Maybe ignore me then if im too high on fvv

I think he’s definitely worth more than both of those options. Most of his advanced metrics blow Smart away.

Do they? I guess if you just go off last season, but go off say the last three and I don’t think that’s the case. Dont get me wrong FVV is the better player, but I wouldn’t want either one as my starting pg. However I could tolerate Smart off the bench at 14 while a starting pg with a 53 ts at 22 mill worries me.

My concern with the youth (Wiseman in particular, the others are lower picks and in their rookie seasons) is that due to draft place the front office/Kerr will play him regardless of whether it's deserved or not over the likes of Looney/vet min guy. I expect it to lose us games.

Wood
AD if you count him as a center

And I think he's in the same tier as Holmes, JVal (though he's a more useful player type than JVal probably), Poeltl, Nurk

Seems crazy to give him that much. Make him find an offer sheet out there

Yeah I figured like 4/$64 would be a decent deal on him. If he's getting that money I'm not sure where the market was.

Last season is the one I care about, so yeah. Using data that is 3 years old seems pretty silly, and I don't think many front offices care much what was done in 2018. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'd be more worried about a guy making 14 million a year that had a BPM of -0.6 and a VORP of 0.6, and the rumors of a difficult personality are abound.

I love the depth for Charlotte, but thats a lot of PF's on the roster. I guess lots of versatility so they will figure it out.

Moved out Monk/Graham/Zeller potentially for Lauri, Plumlee, Kai, Bouknight

The how is relatively easy. Leverage the Dennis signing where the Lakers send his new team a 2nd for letting the Lakers fold it into a Buddy trade. As long as he signs anything decent they can get the rest of the matching with Gasol/McKinnie and if the Kings aren't taking money back value is a total non-issue.

Not sure if it's because of the poor free agent class, the crazy amount of star movement already the last couple years, or my failing memory, but does this seem like much quieter on rumors pre-moratorium this year? Feel like we usually already know where most big name guys are going at this point.
