Yeah, he is still only 31. I mean just look at what Paul and Lowry are getting or projected to be getting. DeRozan is still young enough to get another healthy contract or two in his career, and if he does decide to get a lower offer to win, it would be later in his career.

Derozan taking major pay cut if he goes to the Heat on the MLE.

If Derozan signs with Bulls and we get Lonzo and Rose we will be better than the heat next season.

I'm getting more and more sceptical about this. People say the Bulls will "send" Lauri to SA, but as we all know, it's not that simple. Markkanen has the keys here.

From what I've read, nothing in his life says he's a Texas type guy in any way. On the contrary, almost. Particularly now that he has a family and a hyper woke wife.

If everybody is on the move the what about Lauri to SAS for Derozen in a double S&T maybe Derozen i better, but he's also older
then Young and Satoransky $24M to NOP for a $20M S&T for Ball and they relieve themselves of Jaxson Hayes at $5M

NO just got Valancuinas, have Hernangomez. Hayes has a year and an option left, he's not going to develop more than he's shown in minutes behind both of them another year so clear his contract to get a pair of expiring veterans, Young can give small ball minutes at center feeding Zion those little slip passes

that's a revamped lineup that respects Zach's desire to win

Um, not a title, but a 4/5 type seed. I can't see this team beating the Nets if healthy or the Bucks - possible Philly depending on roster or possibly Hawks depending on our final roster, but it would be tight.

I like Derozan a lot in a vacuum but with Vuc, Zach, Patrick and Ball I don't love his fit. I'd prefer either a better defender like Thad or a better pure three point shooter like Lauri.

He's high volume on below league efficiency. The only thing keeping him afloat is his newly developed 3pt shot.
