Yeah...I'm torn on it. Kuminga's kind of the ultimate boom or bust guy so it's a huge gamble that's either going to burn you or pay off big time. There's probably about an equal chance that in 10 or so years he's got an MVP award or he's out of the league. If he can't get his FG% and FT% up that's really going to hamstring him from breaking out.

It's really all about win now vs. win later. I don't think there's any question that SGA + Favors is a huge upgrade from Kuminga + Wiseman in the short term. But I sure do want to see Kuminga play in the NBA first, hopefully with some intensive coaching and assblasting from Draymond he can focus his game (also for Wiseman). Excited to see him in SL even though that's not necessarily a good measure of talent.

I think hoping Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody are all-stars in three years is a bit much right?

But anyone not named Beal (or at least Siakam) is not worth trading away the upside.

I agree, but I question the fit of Beal or Siakam in a functional Warriors team.

As things are this team is looking very interesting.

Wonder if Lacob would be open to a Dragic for Oubre S&T?

Dragic would be a great back up PG to lead the second unit.

Yes, he would
However, do you realize he is making 19.5 mil this year and he would have actually cost Lacob around 100 mil

It would be a big check to write but it's possible.

I think Siakam is a perfect fit for you guys. He really sucks as a first option, but when you take the ball out of his hands, he’s an incredible off the ball offensive player. And when his offensive load is light he becomes an elite defender.

I think there’s a deal that should make sense for everyone. However Masai has given zero indication of what our teams direction is

Joe Lacob the Warriors majority owner stated on draft night the Warriors are only willing to trade their most valuable assets for one and only one player in the NBA. It does not take a rocket scientist to understand the one player Joe Lacob is referring to is clearly not Pascal Siakam. Masai got the message from the Warriors brass some time ago but apparently he has failed to brief you.

we gotta see if Murray is available from Spurs, offer up Wiseman/Paschall in return. maybe a 3 way where we get Murray, Utah gets Paschall, and San Antonio gets Butler/Wiseman.

just to warn you that you might get some snarky replies about a Siakam trade because some Raps fans came in here and told us we needed to do the trade, we were in a position of weakness, and that Wiggins + our assets were worthless.

Most of us Warriors fans do not see Siakam as a good fit or worth the assets

Bazemore to Lakers, hmm. There goes another one. By the end of summer the Lakers are going to have every player in the league and OKC will have every draft pick forever.

He plays PF. We have Draymond.

So starting off the bat we have to rearrange the lineup to fit him in somehow or take him off the bench.

Next - we need healthy available players. Siakam is coming off injury and may miss time.

Not great when we already have Klay scheduled to miss time.

One of our biggest needs is shooting to space the floor next to Looney and Draymond. Siakam shot 29.7% from 3 last year.

Now, I do not want to say Siakam is a bad player or that GSW would not like to have him but "perfect fit" is not the right phrase here.

Wiggins + a lightly protected 2022 frp for Siakam?

What'd be the solve for the resulting hole at the 5 for us?

Looney/Dray/Bjelica + Chriss? would be enough cover @ the 5, and we'd get a legitimate 6-5 PG2 behind Steph who can defend and run offense.

Sorry I wasn’t aware. Just thought he’d be a nasty small ball 5

Siakam is a very good player but is not a good fit at GSW as long as Draymond Green is on the Warriors roster.

I’d figure Chriss is the likeliest option at that point, but I’d still like to see if Wiseman can take a stride like Poole did. Sign Hill for the size and two-way play from the bench in that regard.

best we can do is to flip Paschall for another pg. we are at 169m and we are not using that TMLE
