How good has Posada been this year?

Even Red Sox fans are singing his praises. Damn.

Well, it's generally considered to be either Bench or IRod with more people leaning towards IRod these days...

Baksetball Jesus, can I completely steal this & pass it off as my own (I work in sports media & a piece like this would do wonders for my career) :D

seriously though, great research.

well when ur 3basemen has 50+ homers 150+ runs scored and rbis and makes a bajillion dollars and can opt out, your bound to be forgotten.. not to mention jobamania, i think its hilarious though cause the chances of him coming close to repeating those numbers (not hating, jus the truth) are veryyyy low and the yanks are gonna havta give him a sh*t load and also need to sign Mo and obviously offer to arod..
then again they are the yankees..

You said A Rod will probably never come close to the type of season hes currently having when I can name at least 2 comparable seasons hes already had & whose to say a guy, arguably just entering his prime, can't put up similar numbers again? The fact that you think he can't come close to posting similiar numbers means you are indeed a hater.

Not to mention bringing up A Rod's current contract has nothing to do with Posada being overshadowed. If you look at all the articles that have been written in the NY media this season, very few have been about the contract issue (once the season started stories about the opt out were few & far between).

Not to mention you bring up moves that have to be made in the upcoming offseason as reasons why Posada's season is being overlooked.

So, once again, you're a hater.

uhh yea too bad i was referring to jorges season.. so once again, no one's hating, you just clearly can't read/ have no common sense.. you also like putting words in my mouth..
"Not to mention you bring up moves that have to be made in the upcoming offseason as reasons why Posada's season is being overlooked."
uhh no not really, are you this ignorant, or woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what? you clearly have a ton of blind hate for either me or mets fans in general.. i was saying that this terrific season he is having, will force the yanks to overpay, and after the signing they will not likely see these numbers OUT OF JORGE (now can you see it?) aka a guy who has a sick contract year.. if you read my post, i clearly wrote
"the chances of him coming close to repeating those numbers (not hating, jus the truth) are veryyyy low and the yanks are gonna havta give him a sh*t load and also need to sign Mo and obviously offer to arod.. "

once again, not once did i hate all i did was speak obvious truths, i complimented arod(1), complimented jorge(2), hell i even put ur savior joba in there(3), then i clearly said they are going to have a small situation signing all 3 because of the money, then i said they are the yankees meaning they are rich and if anyone can pull it off, its them(4).. so lets see i count 4 compliments to the yankees and their players, but somehow you wanted to respond with hate(b/c im a metfan?) so bad that i guess your brain twisted the words around for you? lighten up forreal

If he is then my bad but he starts talking about a rod's stats then says he (posada I guess) has a low chance of repeating them.

My bad, hater comment retracted.
