Happy Memphis dodged this one. Knicks not doing a good job of leveraging their cap space and good season IMO. Boston likely tries to get a TPE here.

Now I don't mind the THJ deal as much

Man that's a lot. He's a productive player but still...a lot.

Derozan is going to have to be a S&T somewhere or he's staying a Spur. Or he really is taking the taxpayer somewhere....

This is a lot. Good player, but opportunity cost here is a lot.

Boston continues to hemmorage(sp) talent.

Same reaction about Eric Gordon lol

I feel confident that Gordon at 2/38 > Fournier at 3/56

So, Knicks used their cap space to bring back their team + Fournier? Are they all done now? Cause if so, that is ... underwhelming.

Not a fan of New Yorks offseason at all and this is by far the worst of it.

It’s an overpay, but it makes sense for the New York Knicks to make a complementary type of signing like this. Pretty questionable, but it’s really positive they got a team option on the fourth year.

I don't. I mean have you actually compared their productivity?

Team option make it more palatable. Why not just give that money to Powell or see how the DD market goes 1st. I don't see why the Knicks are in a rush to give market or above market deals. Noel..fine...but I would have waited on this and the Burks deals.

Jake Fischer in Spaces read out the initial Woj tweet about four years and said: "That's weird. I heard it was three years. I bet there's a team option." A minute later, there was an option.

I think he's legitimate!

yeah not sure why people are naming lessor players here. The issue isn't the money for the player though its bit much. It's the opportunity cost to do something that moves their needle. This isn't about Buddy or EJ at all though. Knicks weren't solving your problems for you for free.
