What do we have to show for it? A nice backup rookie pg, Alex Len, Tristan Thompson, Mo Harkless, and Buddy/Bagley still on the roster.

Yep. I'm keeping a eye out on numbers to see what fits the taxpayer, the Room and what fits the BAE. Teams try and stay in those numbers and thus if they need to they can use those slots for some of their smaller signings while saving bigger slots for better players.

For instance for Dallas we don't know the numbers on Bullock yet, but probably into the MLE. Brown fits into the BAE. Boban will be signed using early Bird's and THJ using Bird's. So Dallas can continue to operate over the cap unless a deal comes where it makes sense to duck under.

It's rough to be a fan of a team like that. It's possible they are trying to rebuild slowly. Looking like another lottery season to pick up an asset. Possibly have a big trade in the works with Simmons. That would help wing depth out a ton.

Yeah, that's true. Portis signed for 2year full MLE

I wish they were rebuilding. But then it just speaks further to the teams incompetence. Why hasn't Barnes been traded yet? Why is Buddy still on the team.

I'm fine tanking. Roll with Fox, Hali, Mitchell and find more pieces. But then trade Buddy/Barnes for some assets and bad contracts.

Some guys expecting big money still left without a chair. Will be interesting to see how many of their agents can find a S&T and who grovels back to their existing team on the cheap.

They can try convince one gm to clear more space by trading other players to OKC . Get there tad bit more .

OKC needs to use the 27.5m Adams TPE by the 9th, so I’d expect them to be involved somehow.

Agreed. Is New Orleans still in or is Sato their stopgap guy? Is Dallas still in? I think if they send out WCS/Burke they can fit their signings into exceptions and just have the cap space to do it. Of course that costs them the full MLE and the Richardson TPE so hopefully if Dallas is in they are insisting on Powell.

Who else might want him?

Have the Pelicans gotten anybody yet? They paid to move off some contracts, lost Ball for absolutely nothing and theyve yet to make a real signing? Honestly dont know what theyre doing

Agreed but I could see another team looped in too to give value for Dragic. Their crap+incentive to OKC.
