He's unrestricted so not in a sense of having the right to match but his agent could have given them a notification and a chance to match the bid. Lakers might have had the chance and refused. The insult on injury will be completed when that money goes to a guy like Melo. They're going full 2017 Cavaliers.

Was it even possible to keep Caruso?

Without shooting. The 2017 cavs without offense, sounds good.

Lakers better hope a Bledsoe buy out is incoming, cause they reallly need some guard defense.

I meant 2017 offseason choices where they lost defense, depth and positive impact roleplayers and gave questionable money to some questionable names.

Very disappointing, I thought that they went for Westbrook because they're willing to spend a lot on tax, but it looks like that they couldn't afford MLE-level extension for Caruso because of that...

Westbrook/Mills
THT/Ellington
Ariza/Matthews?
LeBron/Melo/Morris?
Davis/Howard/Gasol

I hope for some suprise, I won't lie.

I would think the Sixers would outbid the TMLE tho. They cant really afford to lose Green (or any shooting) atm. Thybulle/Simmons as starting wings would be terrifying from a Sixers fan perspective.

From that team

Caruso gone
Kcp gone
Kuz gone
Kieff prolly gone

Rondo prolly isnt coming back. I doubt Danny would want to and Philly has to keep him or theyre boned.

So by bringing back the 20 team they mean Bron, Ad and Dwight?  Or Tht who barely played

Caruso, Rondo and Kcp were prolly the 3 most important players on the team after Bron/Ad too....... this report makes no sense

Losing Caruso is the nail in the coffin on their title hopes IMO.

Nothing makes sense now

THT will likely be never be as impactful as Caruso. Any legitimate front office that wanted to maximize Bron's window would have re-signed Caruso and used THT to acquire a player like Buddy.

We'll take good care of Caruso.

Surprised the Lakers didn't keep him.

Their roster looks like a 2k roster.

THT as starting 2 guard is yuck.
