I'm going to start focusing on driving before I kill myself. It's been fun gents. See you in South Beach with the rest of the Heat on vacay as the playoffs start.

Re: MIAMI HEAT Offseason Thread 2021 Vol.3
I could see Rudy Gay or bad Morris twin at this point. And we better hope Dedmon has money under the table and signs for the minimum.
And then S&T Nunn for Derozan. 12 ish a year.
So my ideal finish:
Lowry, Gabe Vincent
Robinson, Herro
Jimmy, Okpala (ew)
Derozan, Gay/Morris
Bam, Dedmon
And then S&T Nunn for Derozan. 12 ish a year.
So my ideal finish:
Lowry, Gabe Vincent
Robinson, Herro
Jimmy, Okpala (ew)
Derozan, Gay/Morris
Bam, Dedmon

I mean he is cheaper per year than Joe Harris isn't he? And a year or two younger.
Duncan's contract will turn into a bargain.

Remind me, Wayne Ellington was a lethal 3pt shooter too right?
Does Duncan Robinson shoot special golden lightning out of his fingers that Wayne doesn't?
I think it has more to do with Duncan's off ball movement being reminiscent of Klay Thompson and having a slight gravitational pull on the opponent's defense that helps to free up the rest of our offense. And they are banking on continued growth of skills and defensive effort.
that's the theory. UNfortunately it never works out like that.
The other wings/guards have to be setting backscreens waiting 15 secs for the dribble hand off to materialize. We have a horrible offense and near dead last in pace. We have young players that grew up playing high level ball in the Warriors era playing like the year they were born.

I have to think there's something in the works if we're sitting by watching all these forwards getting scooped up while not even offering our MLE yet

With the long term commitment to Duncan at the 2 i’m not opposed to shopping Herro for an upgrade at another position.

I agree with you, one of my biggest criticisms of Spo is our offensive schemes. I would love to see us develop an offense that is in constant motion if we are going to continue to play small. I think it would be great if we went out and pulled Alvin Gentry as an assistant coach to help develop our offense after his experience with the 7 seconds or less suns.

Re: MIAMI HEAT Offseason Thread 2021 Vol.3
I guess DeRozan wants to go to the Bulls for more money. Won't take the Heat MLE and SA would rather have markannen than nunn.
