If our season starts to look like complete **** before the deadline… lowry and duncan are on the block right away… trade them to contenders and get something out of it..

Genuine question, do you really see Riley and Spo benching Duncan after paying him 90 mil? I don't mind the lineup but I don't think Robinson isn't in our starting 5.

Sure, we should. He can get 34 minutes a game as the SG/SF backup. We'll stagger Jimmy/DeRozen minutes.

In theory yes, but in reality no. Imagine trying to trade a 90 mil bench player.

Just do a *wink wink* 1+1 (PO) with DeRozan for the MLE to get his Bird rights then pay him back next year. Yeah it'll be obvious that we did some phuckery but I trust Andy and Pat to cover our tracks

I think it has more to do with Duncan's off ball movement being reminiscent of Klay Thompson and having a slight gravitational pull on the opponent's defense that helps to free up the rest of our offense. And they are banking on continued growth of skills and defensive effort.

that's the theory. UNfortunately it never works out like that.

The other wings/guards have to be setting backscreens waiting 15 secs for the dribble hand off to materialize. We have a horrible offense and near dead last in pace. We have young players that grew up playing high level ball in the Warriors era playing like the year they were born.

If Duncan is having positive impact on our offense, I can only wonder how bad it would be without him. It's not like we're lighting it up out there every night.
