So if Oladipo is retained for his Bird rights and can come back in the 2nd half of the season, Miami could put out a defensive 5 to close out games in the playoffs of Lowry, Oladipo, Butler, Tucker and Bam.

I wonder if part of the incentive in going after Tucker was, aside from adding Tucker to the Heat, you're removing Tucker from the Bucks

We all wanted Portis and he looks better on paper than Tucker, but the fact is Tucker started 21 of 23 playoff games over Portis at 30 mpg to Portis' 18. Yes the size of Giannis and Bropez definitely helped make that possible but it's still worth noting that Milwaukee trusted PJ over Portis in the playoffs

Complain all you guys want but PJ was a big reason why Jimmy struggled in the playoffs and also someone who gave KD problems in their series. Not only does this hurt Milwaukee but this does make us much better defensively.

We don't have to worry about the Olynyk types or undersized/skinnier guys like Ariza helping us on defense from that spot.
