Has anyone see any movement on Tony Bradley or any other bigs that we could potentially get on the cheap? I would like to see us get a defensive minded younger center with decent legs that could cover Bam if he misses any time this coming season.

I like the Tucker signing. There's definitely a lot of gambling on the remaining young players stepping up and hoping the basketball gods are kind to the older guys staying healthy. It's just too uncomfortable for me. But in a scenario where everything goes right, this team will be very pesky and give anyone in the East a series. There's just too many what ifs for me to be really optimistic. We'll see!

The negativity here. PJ tucker is a underrated signing that we did not see coming. Like someone said. he is elite defensively in case we ran vs Nets or Bucks next year, we won't be as soft defensively. He really fits with our starting lineup and can hit those corner threes as well.

Now that I digest the move, Tucker is a good body to have against Giannis. One of the remaining spots we have needs to go to another defensive orientated wing. We’re going to need bodies against BK and Milwaukee

Lowry shot just under 40%, Robinson is lights out, PJ Tucker needs to be respected, and Herro can absolutely destroy from outside.

I want us to bring back Dedmon, sign a player like Danny Green, and keep developing our youth.

I'd rather have signed Wayne Ellington to the 1 year min, and thrown money at a legit PF.

All of these signings will lead us to Luka in 2023, so I’m good with what Riley is doing.

We were so terrible guarding the 3 last year that i don’t see us having that problem this year.

I guess the positive is we kept both Herro and Duncan so far and upgraded our PG position.. you can arguably say we upgraded out PF position also..

In a larger perspective, NBA has become such a water-downed product over the years.

Now 36 yo vet (albeit good one) can sign 4yr 120 mil contract and play forever and 35+ olds everywhere just chilling out collecting paychecks. everyone is friends and it doesn't really matter who wins because they are actually all winners who share profits in a vacuum.

just like 10-15 years ago if you're 35 you're really on the verge of retirement and you're often forced into retirement coz it's too competitive. I might be reading too much into this, but I suspect I'm not way off :dontknow:

Or... modern medicine, dietary research, and fitness are at an all time high and players can play longer.

Personally for me, I can't get into the NBA as much anymore. I mainly watch it out of obligation and loyalty for my team, and some good playoff games and series.

Tucker > Iggy/Ariza

Can handle his position defensively. Even though he is a grandpa himself, he much better than both grandpas we have last year.
