Money is fine but giving a FRP here is pretty bad. Continue to absolutely hate the pelicans off-season

Not a fan of this for New Orleans. They paid full market price AND gave up a first for a pretty inefficient scorer.

Re: Woj: Graham to NOP
Solid play. 26, could improve and make this deal a bargain compared to Lonzo's.
Edit - Didn't realize they gave up a 1st - not as great

Re: Woj: Graham to NOP
The amount of assets that New Orleans has burned through to turn Lonzo, Adams, Bledsoe and multiple 1sts into Graham, Jonas and Sato is just nauseating.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

Re: Woj: Graham to NOP
Pels pick the wrong PG and spent a lot of assets to get him. Another just bad off-season here.

Will they even have the cap to make a run at a max FA next off-season?

Re: Woj: Graham to NOP
Would have loved this if it had been a 2nd. Think the team will likely be better this year (I think JV will be big for them), but this hurt their long term ceiling unless Graham balls out especially on defense.

A 1st for Hornets is a huge win depending on the protections after this season

Why not resign Ball? Why pay to dump those contracts for this?
This is legit terrible...worse than knicks and SA combined.

A first round pick for this players, are you kidding me?!
I know that the FG% is not the only things that matters, but still for a first round pick, this is too much.

Will Zion be the first to just take his QO and walk is the question that needs to be asked here. The Pelicans are going backwards.

Re: Woj: Graham to NOP
I don't hate this signing. I like Graham.
J-Val/Hayes
Zion
Ingram/Murphy
NAW/Sato
Kira/Graham
This is how id roll out the roster. I'm a fan of NAW/Kira so id love to see them get more opportunity.
Definitely hated the J-Val move, but I'm okay with this. Nice young back court trio
Edit: Why the pick? Was Charlotte really going to match this offer? seems unlikely.

Wait we got a first round pick for Graham? A free agent we weren't bringing back?
