As much as I hate the direction of this franchise, welcome to MSG Evan Fournier. I hope he has success in NY, and isn't held to some unrealistic standard by the fans because we were hoping for more.

He's really nice offensively, but his presence puts a lot of pressure on RJ to play good defense on the perimeter and he's a horrible playoff performer (some might say a choker). So we'll see.

PSA fournier is good

errr...he did NOT have a 62% TS over his last 2 seasons. he went for 59.8% (a career high) in 42 games last season

Weird because he did have the AST% correct (17.3). Posted a 59.6% TS over last 2 seasons so still quite good.

I dont hate this signing because they did improve small forward, but still.

He's a good fit - Knicks needed a wing scorer who can create his own shot - and he keeps the French quota alive post-Frank, but the team spent a lot of money today to mostly just consolidate themselves as a first round playoff team.

It's an upgrade, if healthy, just not sure if this is anything more than a treadmill team, especially if Randle regresses at all.

We dont even get Fournier if we dont make the playoffs last season. This should be an upgrade, better scoring and playmaking. I'll wait and see how he looks with the team.

knicks played 5 out with 4 guys because payton couldn't shoot, now they can truly play that offense and launch 3's all game long.

randle, rj, and rose with open space should make it easy for them.
LOL Y U MAD THO?

He is really good. Finally, our backcourt will not suck arse. I am happy with this deal.

I'm saying we dont even get him, we would be giving Bullock 4 years instead.

Yep Im frustrated but not really mad at the FO, I think they did everything possible to make deals but apparently players still don't want to come here and teams still don't want to made fair deals with us. That said just looking at us now we are becoming a pretty deep team. Our ceiling isn't sky high but our floor is significantly higher than last season's.

I'm aware the competition got a lot better, but hey you can only do what you can do. But most of our contracts are good, nobody is grossly overpaid, so maybe they'll be trade able down the line.

This guy has never stayed healthy in his career. He won’t make it past 40 games next season with Thibs

Last year this time this whole board said we were a bottom 5 team and there was NO WAY we were making the playoffs and we should have picked Tyrell Terry 8th and Frank was Thibs best friend (had to throw that in there).

I'll wait and see what happens, much of our improvement will rely on RJ, IQ, Obi or any of our picks this year breaking out. Surprisingly we didnt trade any young guys so they will have a chance to show something.
