Or they did, until this offseason happened and they not only didn't make win now moves, but didn't make win later moves either.

They made moves , but I’m not sure what’s the point

Interesting choice of words there. "Largely" not entirely, totally, etc.

Either way I'm happy we locked him up. I think he's really good and the odds we'd have done much better were slight. Only if he didn't want to be here did trading him ever make sense.

Would anyone be interested in trading for Porzingis? I think he has a lot of value and his issues are probably down to his ability to stay healthy for a long period of time. I reckon we could rehab his value quite a lot.

They could potentially panic this off season since they have missed out on their main free agent targets and could potentially trade for Kemba.

I guess he was alluding to moving up for 3 and not using SGA/6?
Unless SGA was part of the Cade offer

They talked about it some on Thunder After Dark a week or so back.

Basically nobody in the NBA is "untouchable" barring a select few, and we knew so little of reported deals that it could be said "OKC offered SGA in a package" when it was like SGA for 1 and 4 future unprotected firsts, which obviously another team doesn't take.

In general I'd agree in the sense he's not untouchable because almost nobody is, but think they're also committed to him and it would take a real overpay to move him. The draft stuff was pretty sketchy sounding from the start.

I don't understand this from the Sixers. They gonna make another move I guess.

Chances of Kemba to Sixers improved a bit even if I think that they won't make such a stupid decision

It happened so much already yesterday. I ask me where we can trade Kemba now ?

Pelicans (but for whom)
Kings
Spurs
Charlotte (but don't if they take him back)
Cavs (for Love ?)
Pacers
Knicks
Magics
76ers (but I don't want Simmons)
Raptors
Wizards

Pelicans gave up a 1st for Graham so I doubt it would happen now :(

Not much a Spurs kind move.

Doesn't make any sense for Cleveland.

Raptors with Dragic and FVV is better than Kemba.

Pacers doesn't make any sense either :(

Orlando is rebuilding

Wizards was happy to get rid of Westbrook's contract to get more flexibility so pretty unlikely.

Sixers if they can't find any other deal I guess. Small chance Sacramento wants to "compete"

It doesn’t really excite me but I think it could definitely be a possibility.

Starting to worry about the Kemba trade. Horford to OKC was fine because I think he was underrated and in a tough spot in Philly and we had a lot of playing time for him to rehab his value. That's not really the case with Kemba. We have many guards. Also don't think he's such a great locker room guy like Al.

This is probably the best news that we could have gotten, all things considered. We were always going to extend him but not giving deals like Tatum and Mitchell got are a win for us.

What's the difference? Gonna be terrible if Shai doesn't get all nba at least once.

Mitchell and Tatum both got player options for their fifth year which isn't super common on rookie deals. We have control for the full duration of the contract.

Didn't know that (only appears for Mitchell from what I saw). 6 years of control of SGA is pretty good. If nothing goes wrong it's a pretty good deal for us :)
