This game is proving why Bam needs to be a Simmons like Point 4. Not a 5

Jock Landale would be worth a look as a big. 25-26yrs old, can space the floor and defend reasonably well. He was good this year in the NBL and I’ve been impressed with his work in the Olympics.

Looks like others agree with me. Landale just signed a 2yr deal with the Spurs, who have a solid history with Australian players (Shane Heal, Andrew Gaze, Patty Mills, Aron Baynes).

Congrats to him!

Defensive rebounding hurting the Boomers bad. Sounds familiar, very Heatesque.

Bam and Lillard were both black holes in this game. Bam because of his slippery hands and refusal to attack leading to turnovers. Lillard because of his defense and because he doesn’t make anyone better on offense, he thinks he is still in Portland. Both will have to be better to win gold.

Boomers locked up the bronze medal - first Aussie men’s b-ball medal.

Mills with 42 in the game - I hate that he’s going to the Nets!

Exum still available as a FA. Can defend 1-3, just don’t ask him to shoot the 3
