Hill could be good for a few teams. Maybe goes back to Bucks?

Okay so looking over this list for a minute. Starting with the PG's. Mills is choosing a contender it appears. Lou will probably go wherever someone will give him a role and their exception. But 2 interesting ones left:

Jackson -- looking really good for the Clippers here, right? Now their early Bird bid looks really competitive. I predict he re-signs.
Schroder -- Lakers desperately have to want him to sign somewhere so they can take a player(s) back or get a TPE for other business. But where and for what? Can't see anything that makes sense so I predict he's back with the Lakers as the best outcome for both at this point.

DeRozan is the interesting wing. Got to think he still has a fairly robust S&T market if the Spurs are willing to play along. I still see multiple possible suitors here.

Oubre is the Warriors version of Schroder only I really don't think coming back is a viable an option. And GSW will be more hesitant to take back salary--looking for a TPE I'm guessing? I think something with Memphis makes sense if GSW is willing to take back money as Memphis has useful players they could unload. Dallas could take him into the Richardson TPE and that still makes some sense maybe if he realizes his market has dried up? Portland sending DJJ/Little/2nds to OKC for him makes a lot of sense. Charlotte? New York still has $10M left if they do Rose last?

Markkanen not finding any money surprises me a bit. He wanted to be in Dallas and I'm still on board if Chicago is willing to play along in a S&T. Thought this would be the Spurs but they went with Collins/Doug. OKC might should be making a call here? I know Pacers fans will hate it but I don't mind them being a player.

Some contender is going to get Milsap and he's still going to help.

All the end of days stuff with Drummond as a buyout and he's going to play on a minimum contract and I will enjoy it immensely.

Atlanta is going to end up getting a good deal on Collins unless OKC decides to wreck them with an offer.

For Lauri? I guess if we waive Martin and Lauri takes the vet minimum? Or, if Chicago wants Lamb, we could do something, so long as Lauri gets less than Lamb’s $10.5m in salary? Otherwise, we’re $400k short of the tax line with 15 roster spots locked in, and more realistically in need of a 3rd PG than anything else, while we currently have Turner, Sabonis, Goga, Jackson, Brissett, and Martin at the 4/5 spots, and will likely play Warren some at the 4. Otherwise, just Brogdon and McConnell at the PG spot, while I guess Levert, Sumner, and Duarte will have some ball handling responsibilities too?

I feel like OKC is going to go dumpster diving once the money dries up and try to secure one of those longer team friendly deals with some outs with a meh prospect.

Oh it would require some additional shake up but I think Indy should be looking at that already. I realize its not realistic, I just see him as a player who might really thrive playing for Carlisle.

I don’t think there’s interest from either side in running it back. I would guess he signs a 1 year MLE prove-it deal if he can’t work out a long term offer with someone.

TPE or just letting him walk are probably the most likely outcomes.

Worth a future 2nd to get the TPE even if it goes unused right? And I agree. Especially with the decision to just make and keep the picks and Wiseman. Sounds like a team that believes their players can recruit Beal and saving all the powder for that.

For sure, but I can envision a scenario where he doesn’t get/doesn’t want a 3 year commitment (especially if the last 2 years are NG)

Glad to see him back in Cali. F it, he deserves it. Man has lost a step, but he can still shoot.

Hopefully he comes in this year in great shape. Will always root for him

Agreed. He's been a pretty decent bench guy everywhere he's gone it feels like

If I were OKC I’d offer a max to Collins that was full of gross/convoluted details (like Portland did for Kanter), to force the Hawks hand at matching.

Wolfsen saying Wolves are still poking around Markkanen--first thing I've heard regarding him.

Assuming our other 2 vets leave now that Rudy is off the board, they are tanking. McDermott does not move the needle but Spurs need high character vets on the roster. Collins is a low risk high reward gamble. Primo is a low floor high ceiling risk.

Spurs still have 30 million in cap space so it kinda depends on what else they do. Right now it looks like they're planning on sucking. But I'm still holding out hope that they're offering Collins a max contract

Poeltl/Eubanks
J. Collins/Samanic/Z. Collins*
Johnson/McDermott
White/Walker/Vassell/Primo
Murray/Jones

I'd assume Spurs will be running a lot of small ball with McDermott or Johnson at the 4 and Vassell at the 3. Walker seems to be the odd man out, or maybe Murray. Feels like Spurs still have one G too many. Also depends on what happens with DeRozan, as Spurs could still work a S&T to get a rotation player back in return.

All that said...not sure what we're doing other than building a team that will miss the playoffs next year
