the lakers havent won anything in over a decade. the last two Finals winners were Tor & Mil.

A championship is a championship, the Lakers won the 2020 championship.

Asterisks are stupid.

there was no NBA championship in 2020, it was some scrimmage summer league tourney thing played in front of no one in Orlando that they used in a feeble attempt to pacify fans, that literally no one tuned into watch from their couch either

I was originally not sure about the signing. After reading up on Caruso and perusing through Lakers boards and how bummed they are that their team not only did not re-sign him but they did not even make a final offer tells me the Bulls got a real solid guy. I think Caruso will be one of the better under the radar moves of FA.

For those who think he has a punchable face, if you can root for Jo Noah, I think you can root for Caruso.

Best thing about him. He plays with an EDGE.
We need that badly.

I doubt Coby is feeling good after today however. Today's moved are frankly a direct inditement on how far short coby fell last year. Two significant 4 year contracts for the other guard spot. Add in the Ayo pick and I'm struggling to visualize Cobys place on this team. My feeling is AKME would love to salvage some value out of coby via trade if a taker was out there.

Adding Lonzo, Caruso, Ayo, and TBJ and drafting PWill last year....it's pretty clear AK/ME value two way players. So Coby better work hard on his defense once he can resume workouts. In the meantime he should be watching tape on his opponents. Learn their tendencies and favorite moves so he can react and not think. His matador defense isn't going to cut it with all that competition. You have to like our length in the back court. Ball is 6-6", Zach is 6-5", Caruso is 6-5", Ayo is 6-5" with a huge positive wingspan, and Coby is 6-5". Even Javonte Green is 6-4". Dotson is our only short guard at this point, and I doubt he even makes the roster. I expect Valentine to be gone. So we are stacked at guard. Tall and deep. And we have some guys now who can defend at the point of attack.

I see TBJ playing more at the "3". He just needs to stay healthy. If he does he'll get meaningful minutes.

I need some tin foil, but stores say some guy who doesn’t believe 2020 nba championship match didn’t happen keeping buying it.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Let’s not forget that Ball and Caruso were teammates in LA, now they will play together again.

This is sad. Whatever helps you sleep at night, bud. You wouldn't be saying this if you're favorite team won it all.

Im reading up on him and watching videos. he is going to be pretty much our new younger version of temple. im still confused a bit because i dont know if there keeping coby and thad? there both still needed. coby gives us hope on having a young player that can develop in the future. you defenitly want to hold on to him. dont get ahead of yourself and let him go. but they could be added to a trade to get someone near allstar if combined together with markkanen packaged. and we lost out on javale. they need a shot blocker and rebounder with size. and also i like troy brown jr alot. i want him to play a role no matter who we pick up. if were going full defense then he has to be involved. im guessing this is ak way of saying the only reason we missed the playoffs if because of the poor defense from the guard position.

Didn’t see that coming, but I absolutely love it. Caruso is very underrated and fills an obvious need.

His pick and roll defense is like Kirk and his willingness to body up bigger guys is like CP3.

Bulls have for years been burned by their poor parameter defense. They seem to be addressing it.

Now to get an athletic rim protector...

After the draft they signed Troy Brown Jr. He's a rim protector. We don't know his contract status yet tho.

I am absolutely "ok" with Alex Caruso. He's for sure a good pickup by the the Bulls FO which we didn't have on the radar at all.

Caruso can guard the opposing teams best ball handler on and off the ball, which makes him probably an elite defender. His quick hands will get some steals and turn them into fast-break dunks.

Yes......good pickup at all!

WELCOME TO THE BULLS ALEX CARUSO!

With addition of Ball and Caruso our backcourt defence will be improved by miles.. Both guys can defend from 1-3,also we have here Brown, maybe Green too.. Defense will be on new level completely. True Bulls D
