Why did we facilitate a trade for Dragic then if we don't want him. Why didn't we just let Lowry walk for free then and use our money to accumulate assets ??

lol we still wouldn't sign anyone better than Dragic tho...

I'm grateful we took this deal instead of keeping the cap space. I know our free agent history sucks lol I'll tell you rn Dragic and Precious are probably better than any free agent signing in the history of this franchise.

I hope we have finally realized it's better to use our cap space to take on contracts and picks or prospects than hoping for the best in free agency

Cap space would've been solid to take on a bad contract/ picks from a team.

Other than that.. keeping Dragic to the deadline is probably fine (even though I don't want to see him on the Raptors). The Holmes thing is the weirdest to me... I wonder if we were legit on his radar and vice versa.

Dragic will not stay healthy until the deadline.
I don't expect us winning 40+ games. Not with Siakam and Fred leading this team. Nets, Bucks, Heat, Sixers, Hawks, Bulls, Hornets, Knicks - play in is the absolute maximum for us.

Yep. But our management wanted to help Kyle and Miami out. At our expense. Not over yet but we're taking a big L on this one. There were other options in taking bad salaries around the league.

Yall spent like 5 years calling the raptors a treadmill and calling for the team to be broken up before we won a championship. No one should take that treadmill sht seriously again

We've won plenty of games without Lowry over the last two years, I'm more bent of the additions and or lack there of

Dragic was awesome when he was under Nash, it'll be interesting to see him run a full speed offence again.

He's really not that much of a drop off from the guy we sent out.

Not really. We are developing players as we go along. This isnt just fvv and siakam and thats it.

We got Barnes, Flynn, Trent, Achiuwa all 20-23 with solid upside. Then you can also add OG to this list whos still improving and 24.

People may not like it but thats masai’s vision and its already worked for us in the past.

This also allows for future trades down the line
