We've got 4 TPE's that expire in the next week as well, 3 are <$2 million, but the Adams one is $27.5 million. Hopefully we're able to use that as successfully as we used the Oubre and Gallinari ones.

I feel like offering Collins a gross offer sheet to mess with the Hawks is something OKC should seriously consider

Honestly, I'm confused on how Shai's extension affects cap space. Not sure $5.5M hits cap or next year's figure. Really confused because Spotrac has him listed twice and I'm going off of the $29.75M figure.

Anyways, I made an error, so here is the correct info based on the $29.75M figure above:

I do think we will guarantee Roby and Williams' contracts, FWIW. Think CBJ gets waived.

It's not. It's my accounting. I'm just unsure what Shai's current cap hit is now that he has signed his extension. Even Spotrac isn't accurate right now because of all the transactions being processed.

Spotrac had the right figures, just one year early. Shai will be making ~$5.5 million this year, first year the extension kicks in will be next year so we have him locked up for the next 6 seasons.

Well, if that is indeed true, and his cap it is ~5.5M, we have ~$38M in space, but for some reason, Keith Smith's projected cap is $28M for OKC. Maybe that's taking into account rookie scale contracts. Let me check.

Alright after taking into account rookie cap holds and assuming $5.5M cap hit, $27,490,775.00 in space. Obviously, we can get over $28M if we waive CBJ.

We wanted #1 or #3 in the draft and we are linked to Dinwiddie, right now he's the GOAT reporter for Thunder rumors (not gonna last long with Markkanen/Monk :))

To be fair the next reporter that leak a Thunder rumour will be the GOAT . When was the last time anyone who was amongst the Thunder reporter group ever report a rumour before it happen ?

SGA - extension kicks in after his rookie scale so this season he will be counted as 5.5m
Capspace or TPE - given 28m in cap , we are better off using the TPEs and working as over the cap team cause then we will have 27/12/10 to work with that figure being adams /Ariza/hill salary when we traded them . Of course I’m not sure who actually have salary they are willing to dump and salary we are willing to absorb.

Are there still team willing to make a splash on available FAs and just need a slight encouragement from us ?

Something that might be interesting to keep an eye on:

Waiving CBJ, Roby, Williams, and pulling Svi's Q.O. gets us to >$35M in space. Doubt we do all that, but pulling Svi's Q.O. and waiving CBJ is definitely on the table. Hard to see us not guaranteeing Roby's contract. Presti might even extend the guy. Who knows?

roby's guarantee date is tomorrow, and it seems unlikely we waive kenrich williams.

To work as an over the cap team, we just need to keep TPEs, correct? We don't actually NEED to go over max cap line do we?

Yeap .
- keep the TPEs but once they expire they expire
- only penalty is if we don’t get to salary floor come season end but there’s a high chance we do cause now I see us as the team that luxury tax team will dump salary on at trade deadline.

Money to get to salary floor:

$17,952,368.00

Assuming Svi and Hall will eat some of this up.

Any predictions on Svi's contract offers?

Also, it seems like we have a hard decision to make with regards to Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.

We can seek a trade to open up a roster spot, or just waive one of Roby or Williams, which is unlikely.

Assuming we waive Charlie Brown, Jr., and we indeed do sign Giddey, Mann, Svi, and Hall, we will have 15 players, not counting JRE, and we still have to hit salary floor.

This is an interesting situation. Wonder if they just sign JRE to a Two-Way, but how many guys picked 32nd sign a Two-Way?

Hall : the UDFA special. This year and maybe next year partial guarantee but 1m ish per year
Svi : I think he just take the QO . Guess he wants 6-8m or more per year which I feel is a tad too rich .

Spotrac has his guaranteed date listed as today, which coincidentally is his birthday, as well.
