I'm actually not as worried anymore. With all these guys coming off the board- particularly cheap bigs- I assume we're cooking something up behind the scenes. Granted, it's tough to take a wait & see approach given how llong we've been waiting (between one and two years depending on how you look at it) but i haven't given up all hope.

I really Hope everyone here screaming at Masai Saying he sucks as a GM Now or w/e cause he didn't get the "Center" You guys wanted in Holmes or whoever was out there....You have to look at the bigger picture and where he is coming from and the direction he is taking...

-Drafts Barnes > Suggs If you wanted to have a win now type of guy you go with Suggs who is the more polished player but clearly Masai went with the more long term Potential in a Barnes (Means hes going towards taking 1 step back to take 2 steps forward)

-Throws Pascal in Trade Talks Not because Siakam is a bad player but in terms of his timeline he is going for it makes sense to see what we can potentially get back for him if he does decide to go that route...Too guess what...Become a worse team to take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward

-Looking at the Landscape of the NBA Today you have The Clippers Yes Kawhi Maybe hurt but once hes back him and PG are still a heck of a team for the few years they will be together there for, Look at the Lakers With LeBrons few years left on his career having AD now Westbrook and all the role players wanting to go there to win a ring, Look at the Nets have arguably the best talent in the History of NBA With Durant/Harden/irving .....

-Now Teams that have their own dominating players but are not considered really super teams you have Luka who is one of the next best players in the history of the game who will lead the Mavs to success for a long time, You have 76ers who have Embiid still will be good regular season team, You Bucks with Giannis , Giannis just catching his stride now and becoming unstoppable...

Now look at us....

We have decent players but nothing to really say will lead you to the promise land anytime soon....Masai knows this and will play the draft (Best way to aquire that kind of a player/team) ...Hes never had the chance here or really anywhere hes been a GM for and actually play the draft and have his hand at the gathering top draft picks ...He is doing that now as you can tell

Be prepared for a few years of Top 5 picks until we get ourselves a real game changer

Kawhi's just renewing his leverage with the Clippers, and it seems like DeMar is just waiting to see if Miami can get him reasonable money.

Literally even if Klay comes back at 100% what he used to be (extremely unlikely), they’re not good enough to win it all. They NEED to make a move

GS gonna feel the pressure at the deadline on getting Pascal. And then from there we likely will have built Pascal's value again.

Tough decision for them. Do they cave now or wait later and possibly pay more?

I can guarantee Masai is asking for a ton right now for him and Myers knows that package will only increase at the deadline once Pascal shows he's healthy and balling again.

80% of the names changing teams are washed up players. Even Lowry is close to becoming washed at 36 years old.

To be fair, there were only 2 good free agent centers so after that, it's not saying much.
