Gone to lakers

Lakers are stacked.

Westbrook, Lebron, and Davis is a hell of a 3.

Adding all the low cost players...deep deep team.

So are the Nets.

Sounds like you really need to have the deck stacked in your favor with superstars in large market to get all the vets to ring chase in your house. We have a large Market, we just don't have the household superstar names in our lineups unfortunately.

And we really need a capable backup PG with a 35YO starter and shaky Vincent the only other one

Not sure what Markieff Morris is waiting for. Clearly the Lakers have moved on. Maybe holding out hope to join brother with Clippers.

Yeah, they are currently reviewing all the files for high levels of osteoporosis, high levels of aging, short limbs, and high mileage use to give somebody a contract.

I just don't get the Nunn thing.

Could it be he couldn't even get a 4.7 deal elsewhere so we're trying to low ball him?!

Making the decision to operate over the cap (and get the MLE) cost us Precious and Nunn. I dint like that trade off especially since we got freaking Tucker and not Derozan.

All thing looking like a mess TBH

Teams got players twice as good as Tucker for half the price we paid. A bunch of them.

I don't understand how Nunn hasn't gotten an offer. He is formidable and contributes. Good player, undersized but still good.

It’s honestly a complete disaster. All these decent guys going for the minimum and we paid so much for Tucker.

I'm liking the moves so far.

The bottom line is that Bam needs to step up. None of this matters unless Bam develops on offense. I think a lot of the pessimism on this board is rooted in the doubts about Bam.

Hopefully Lowry can help maximize Bam's game.

it's really not as evil/bad as it looks to be honest.
We have three definite options here,
either A. we are planning to sign him over the cap since we own the bird rights so were planning of upping 4.7 essentially since he is worth more.
B we have something lined up that requires the additional cap space to work it in so essentially we can afford to lose him.
Or C Arison really is not hell bent on paying luxury tax for the current team which scream 2nd round out.

We have a lot of holes to fill. Maybe letting Nunn’s cap hold go gets us two more vet min players.

What decent guys are going for the minimum? We needed someone to help us at the 4 and Tucker was the guy.

Keep in mind, we can't force a guy to sign here. Its a lot easier for team like the Lakers and Nets to convince guys to sign for cheap.
