Maybe teams don't want to deal with his college baggage.

I'm hoping the Nunn move means we're about to sign Lou Williams and Markieff Morris.

Teams got players twice as good as Tucker for half the price we paid. A bunch of them.

It’s honestly a complete disaster. All these decent guys going for the minimum and we paid so much for Tucker.

What decent guys are going for the minimum? We needed someone to help us at the 4 and Tucker was the guy.

Keep in mind, we can't force a guy to sign here. Its a lot easier for team like the Lakers and Nets to convince guys to sign for cheap.

its my opinion that these stacked teams are making the NBA more irrelevant since people outside those markets will realize that there 's zero chance for them to really compete for something meaningful

its gonna be harder to be a fan outside the pre selected teams

Drummond and Melo we wanted nothing to do with.

Where did Porter and Monk sign? Oh ya, the Lakers.

That must be why Drummond was a DNP-CD in the last game of the playoffs for the lakers even wit AD out.

The bottom line is that Bam needs to step up. None of this matters unless Bam develops on offense. I think a lot of the pessimism on this board is rooted in the doubts about Bam.

Hopefully Lowry can help maximize Bam's game.
bam is playing like trash in the olympics so far, i dunno whats wrong with him :banghead:

unfortunately I think as fans we do review our players harsher than others but we know with high level of certainty that BAM is what he is. He will get savier on the defensive end with time, he most likely will improve his lane/post passing as he has a knack for that. He does need better instincts for being at the right place and box out timely, that will come with time. but he will never be a high level, impact, go getter scorer. Its not in him, he is not that type of player and we can see when he forces this he plays like poopo. A good point guard will definitely improve the roll game and get easier looks but league wide this means 3-5point swing realistically when you get players like CP3 joining a team. I hope that Lowry can do that for him, I am sure we all do.

We really need a somebody who can break down the defense, a slasher with vision and capable of on the bounce scoring.
Jimmy can do that on his good days, but struggles sometimes and is turnover prone when he over emphasises.

Realistically our hope rises in Hero, turning into a true volume scorer, or closer for the team.

I'm an open Tucker hater but I would've taken Otto porter / Rudy Gay / Batum / Portis over him, easily.

Honestly, if I would have known the domino effect that would come from the Big 3 in Miami, I wouldn't have wanted Lebron to come to Miami. The NBA is almost unwatchable now.

Sure if this was 2K and you could just hand pick what free agents join your team.

Its a 2 way street and clearly Tucker was intrigued by the Heat more than those others.

You have a stacked team of alpha scorers on the USA Olympic team, unless BAM is there predominantly for rebounding, and setting screens with the occasional dunk as a roll man he is out on an island it's not like he is in a system like in Miami. Also in Fiba/Olympics teams play tall, grimmy, and box out which limits his impact on that end.

Faried? Is Chuck Hayes still around or did I just outdate myself?

Andre Drummond is barely hanging on to a career at this point.

With how our system is based, Drummond would of killed it here. Look how good we can make any 7ft dinosaur in our system look.
